Define "breaktime".

Yeah, like while playing the Imagin, the suit actors didn't actually have to do massive strenuous stunts like jumping and running around and doing extremely choreographed fights. Instead, they mostly got to just play around (although there was still fighting even on the Denliner).

OOO has to be it's own show, not a carbon copy of W.

yeah, except I'm still having trouble remembering the names. U'd think that after all this time I would have remembered them but I don't even think there's a trick to remembering the names, how do you guys remember them?

they get to spill coffee on themselves. that's FUN!

But it still kept a them sort of like Tsukasa had in Decade.

Tsukasa was dressed like a person of interest in that Riders series.

Shotaro is dressed like a detective in the old novels.

Phillip...Just dress like a oddball.
There are multiple ways to look like a detective and goofball beyond what they wore though.

Just having fun.
So having fun with your characters means it shouldn't be considered a Kamen Rider series.

So were just going to ignore the fights that were in ever episode.

In a sense, when the franchise is known to be serious and has been doing so for years, then we have a series that just throws it all out and just has fun, then it is indeed a candidate for being a "filler" series... Which became popular on its own right, which is why Den-O is good as its own category and would have been better without the "Kamen Rider" tag IMHO.

I'm not suggesting that, all I'm saying as the suit-actors had more screentime via the Imagins when compared to past series prior to Den-O, in which they all just acted totally out of their usual character, being a slapstick comedic team and all. Usually, we have the suit-actors only appearing when our protagonists henshins... Now we have them almost all the time with the Imagins, in which it is plainly obvious they were having fun doing it.

I think the Imagin added another perspective to Den-O. They were just monsters, just happy and funny. Just like Kiba's gang of Orpnoch in Faiz.

Den-O was a decent show that perhaps needed a little more push.

Perhaps something happened that sapped Kobayashi post-Ryuki? :P
