Kamen Rider OOO Rumor/Picture Thread

Kobayashi loves to write characters who are complete bastards, so she makes them popular with the fanbase by casting a hot actor to play them and then ramping up the character's angst to gain audience sympathy

Writers are not casting directors either.

This rider looks evil:O_O:

So I guess Birth will be made by Kogami Foundation (since Kogami just loves saying Happy "Birth"day:laugh:) and the user will be.....Gotou maybe

I can bet you he'll be the sort that will attack Eiji at the slightest glimpse of him. Every. Single. Fricking. Time.

E.g.,

Eiji happens to see Gotou.

Gouto Henshins and attacks him.

The next day:

Eiji sees him again, gets attacked again

A week later:

Gotou as KR Birth charges towards Eiji out of thin air

etc, etc, etc.

Tch!! Tch!!

Yeah, no, Eiji doesn't threaten people with guns, he just slices them up, tears apart their bodies with his bare hands and kicks them until they're dead on the ground. I mean, of course, following your "logic" that attacking a Greeed with a gun is a reprehensible act.

Gotou knew that Ankh was possessing a human, but shot at him arbitrarily with no thought for Izumi. Eiji would not do this to the Greeed and especially wouldn't struggle with Ankh if he thought Izumi could die

I remember him and Ankh not meeting each other face to face in the beginning, especially when Ankh wanted to let the Yummies get more medals before before killing them.

Ankh isn't his employer. Eiji did not ask to be OOO. Gotou did ask to quit the police and work for Kougami. In a country where loyalty to one's boss goes without saying, the fact that he feels free to mouth off to Kougami says a lot about him (and it isn't anything good)

Really, you're complaining about Goto at this point not due to his character and actions, but just due to his personality. The only real argument that you have so far is his dislike of the mission of giving a new medal to Eiji, but you complained about him even before that. You're basically just saying "Anyone that isn't charismatic and open to everyone is an evil asshole".

Well being heroic generally goes with qualities like being kind and helpful to other people, and setting a good example. Gotou is a spiteful, arrogant jerk - why exactly is he qualified to be a Rider?

The scanner belt transforms the new rider and it shouts.....

BBBBBIIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Sound effects pre-recorded by Kougami himself!

Izumi is essentially dead already. Even when Ankh leaves his body he's more or less in a coma-like state. So unless some miracle happens where Izumi is restored to full life, he's a dead man walking.

Ankh isn't his employer. Eiji did not ask to be OOO.

Ankh recruited him to become OOO, so Ankh feels he is the "boss" in the relationship.

So do you think Goto should be 100% trusting of Eiji and Ankh? We don't even know the whole story behind OOO and the Greeds, there could very well be a good reason not to trust them beyond the mere fact that Ankh is a Greed.

^But you're typing it. You don't want to be like KamenRiderSymbiote and his "we" thing.
Why are we arguing about Goto being a good guy when we have Rider's like Kaixa who are way worst. Goto is a grey hero. He fights for humanity but unlike Eiji he isn't afraid to make sacrifices. He'd easily shoot Izumi to save the world. You don't have to be a pure heart to be a Kamen Rider in this day and age.

Gotou knew that Ankh was possessing a human, but shot at him arbitrarily with no thought for Izumi.

Does he really know about the entire situation? He seems to regard Ankh as just a Greeed.

Aside from that, both times he got his gun, Ankh had already pulled his monster hand before, and in one of them at least Goto clearly never intended to hit Ankh. He just shot in front of him to make him stop walking towards that girl from the Kogami Foundation.

Ankh isn't his employer. Eiji did not ask to be OOO.

He could have just ran away rather than staying and fighting following Ankh's commands. So, yes, he did chose to be OOO and work with Ankh.

Gotou did ask to quit the police and work for Kougami. In a country where loyalty to one's boss goes without saying, the fact that he feels free to mouth off to Kougami says a lot about him (and it isn't anything good).

We'll see. It seems that he works for Kogami because he wants to "protect the world" and believed that Kogami was trying to do that... However, I'll be surprised if that really turns out to be Kogami's goal.

Well being heroic generally goes with qualities like being kind and helpful to other people, and setting a good example. Gotou is a spiteful, arrogant jerk - why exactly is he qualified to be a Rider?

Because he wants to protect the world? If he really wants to do that, and it isn't just some twisted desire, and he's willing to put himself on the line for others, then he's certainly heroic in spite of a cold personality.
