Well I think she knew Fangires will be hunting her so she have to abandon him and have Kivat protect him. Kinda Star Wars like, like most of this series.

I'm also starting to think Maya rescued the arms monsters from the '86 king also. Another reason why she left wataru and went into hiding. The fangires wouldn't know where the arms monsters were thus they survive being the last of their races. She's sneaky! But the one thing I haven't figured out: How will yuri die? And who is megumi's father? And remember she has a brother also!

No, what's sad is how Toei throws in stuff solely for the sake of merchandising in the first place. That's the only reason stuff like ShooDran and PoweredIXA, things we never see after one or two battles, are there. CastleDran at least has a general purpose as the house of the royal couple.

Hmm, I blame BANDAI. They are the ones forcing TOEI to fit a monthly toy into their series.
