Yeah, it's clearly supposed to sound forced, but the direction and incidental music indicate it's intended as a comic relief bit. I've always found it more disturbing than funny, though early on it was just nice as a way to put Tsukasa in his place from time to time.

I'm hoping so just because I've been curious since the start about how the Rider Worlds that we know from their respective series relate to the existence of these AR Worlds beyond just being parallel.
