GARO: The One Who Shines in the Darkness - Episodes 1-3

Aguri is awesome for me, badass and intelligent, my favorite kind of combination. He's no less an asshole than Kouga was during the beginning of the 1st season. The difference between Aguri and Ishida, Aguri is actually badass and can back up his uptightness with skill, Ishida? Not so much. I wonder why Rian call Aguri by his family name though? She has no problem calling Ryuga by his first name after all. I like how Rian changes her voice when Aguri tell her that's not how Makai Priestess are supposed to speak in episode 3, Aguri's clearly not amused.
Can't wait to see Rian disguising herself to meet Enhou in episode 4.

I don't think it changes much, but it is pretty effective in setting a more adult tone to the show.

And yes.. of course I enjoy nudity.

The thing with that scene is that if you change it so that the breasts wasn't shown, it would not make any difference. The rest of the episode runs pretty much like the first, a more grim and gory hero tokusatsu show.

Implying that Takeru slept with many women is fine, but showing the breasts is not necessary for what the scene is conveying, the fact that Takeru is womanizer, and to the rest of the episode. Hence, it really felt tacked on, and a bit crudely at that.

Somebody hasn't watch HBO in a long time.

We've already lost the horror aspect of Garo if we lose the nudity what else makes Garo Garo?! Also if you don't like nudity so much why are you watching this show in the first place? If you don't like stabbing yourself in the face don't stab yourself in the face?

Yes, I don't watch this HBO thing you're referring to. I assume it's a tv channel or something:sweat:.

I come to GARO for the action scenes, the cool wolf armors and the swords, the amazing monster designs, the more grim and gritty atmosphere, and the fantasy world setting it's in. Oh, and the epic heroes, the epicness and the epic music, oh yes. And some other stuff that I'm forgetting, for sure.

I guess different people come to GARO for different things, which is a good thing, I think. The things I come to GARO for are still there(nudity is not one of them), and that's why I'm still watching.

The fact that you called it a "thing" means you don't watch much tv at all.

If you were a guy who came into season 3 without watch the other 2 I would get you not liking the boobs but surely you have to of gotten used to it by now is it honestly worth bringing up 3 seasons in? It's not changing they'll always be there you just gotta get over it.

I'm not a big fan of random boobies myself. However, we also have to consider that in the horror genre directors juxtapose the horror and the darkness with the beautiful. It's a way to make the horror stand out.

Note that practically every horror film (at least in Japan) has a beautiful cast and/or nudity. Either that or have it happen in a picturesque setting.

My previous statement was more a reaction to the difference of the presentation in episode 1 and 2.
