Name: Stirling “Liny”

Race: Amlati (Xeno-mix)
Virtue(s): Courageous, Honest, imaginative.
Flaw(s): Selfish, impatient.
Physical Appearance: large, pale red eyes in a heart-shaped face with long, cascading black hair. Stirling is, to paraphrase an old saying, ten pounds of kinetic energy trapped in a five pound container, though this is by no means an accurate measurement of her real weight. Her preference for extreme activities has given her a toned physique. Her white Nazzadi tattoos resemble arcs of lightning, symbolizing the sheer momentum her tiny, 5'4" frame produces once she gets moving.

They cannot track each other precisely or tell if they are hurt, but can differentiate between living and dead.
Insanity Points: 1
Disorders:
Background: Stirling is a child conceived during a rather wild, "we survived the war,” party, where both sides were present. Adding alcohol to 20-something year olds with a lot of endorphins surging through their blood was perhaps not the wisest choice made that night. This led to Stirling never knowing who her human father was (although apparently her name had something to do with his), as her mother was settled in the Nazzadi capital of Kalara Baki by the time the young amlati was born.
Stirling grew up with her mother, stepfather, and half-siblings. During her early years, the subject of her heritage was not an issue, and throughout school she used her forceful personality to disarm anyone who made it so. To blend in better with her ethnic surroundings, she went by a nickname, “Liny,” which more closely fit Nazzadi naming conventions. She also came to prefer their term, “Amlati,” over the more widely used Xenomix.
On her 18th birthday, Stirling finally received a letter from her human father, Brent Silvers, a professor of engineering at the University of Wilmarth. After many years of searching, he had finally been able to track down his estranged daughter and was intent on getting to know her better. Stirling made a flash decision, and applied to the institute, where she was accepted to attend courses on art, photography and cultural studies.
In the first week, she spent a lot of time interacting with her younger half-sister on her father’s side, who accidentally dropped her bracelet off the end of a pier. Stirling, armed with a small blade and her chest mounted camera, dove in after it and swam to the bottom of the relatively shallow waters. Unfortunately for her, no water is too shallow for the Deep Ones to lurk in, and no sooner had Stirling found what she was after when she was attacked by one of these abominations. The Amlati reacted by doing the only thing she could think of – she stabbed it in the eyes, and before she even knew what was going on, an even larger creature appeared from nowhere, shredded the Deep One and left the water clouded with blood. Stirling snapped a picture just before it vanshied and escaped before the thing could turn its attention on her, saying nothing about her ordeal to her sister or anybody else.
Stirling tried every single bookshop and library she could find on the island, looking for the sea monster in her photograph. She scoured the internet. Her methods turned up nothing. She did, however, notice a Nazzadi man she did not recognise watching her from the shadows when he thought she might not be looking, and eventually she led him into her favourite library and ambushed him with a finely timed book-bag against the back of his skull. Demanding answers from him, she found him surprisingly willing to divulge information on a group called the Eldritch Society and its holy warriors, the Tagers. It was through her interactions with this man that she came to join the secret society for herself and eventually underwent the Rite of Sacred Union.
