Also, Takebe said in an interview that they are going back to early Heisei roots, with inspirations from Kuuga, Agito, Ryuki and Faiz. Slightly more serious despite all the fruits.
They also want to stop the whole two episode victim thing where the monster gets away. There's gonna be significantly less of that. Kamen Rider Gaim is taking a different approach apparently.

I certainly hope so. If Kabuto showed that the "Agito formula" was getting tired and needed a change, then Wizard is showing that the "Den-O/W formula" has run its course and it's time to refresh again. If only they refreshed on the belts and their voices becoming more toyish and less practical...

Do you have a source for this? Because I would really love it if this was true.

So far there's nothing about human forms. The scans make it seem like the monsters are wild creatures from a different dimension. But knowing it's Gen Urobuchi, they're probably related to humans.

Considering the scans we have so far have Balon in a fight with both Gaim and Ryugen (And posing with them as well) and the "Additional Riders" Griton is part of means there's probably going to be episodes devoted to Rider battles. And they could easily reuse the Lockseeds from the "Additional Riders" multiple times.

I don't think that'd necessarily be the case. IIRC, the monsters in Ryuki were just wild creatures from another dimension. If the emphasis of the show is going to be on the conflicts among the Riders, then the monsters don't really need to be anything but monsters. They can complicate the story by, say, Gaim wanting to beat a monster while Baron just wants to beat on him.

Honestly, if Urobuchi tried recycling something like the Witch/Magical Girl thing from Madoka in Gaim, it would just come off as the Phantoms again, because the Phantoms pretty much are a direct knockoff of that idea. After four straight years of monsters having human faces, Rider might be ready for a shake-up.

This image seems to suggest we'll get two or three minor Riders right in the first quarter, Griton being the only one revealed so far.

I dunno, it looks like the Lock Seeds in that pic are for Durian and Pinecone, which I believe are known to be Griton form changes? The silhouettes certainly look like form changes to me. I could be behind the news curve here, though. Anyway, regardless of what's going on in this box, I think it's pretty obvious we'll be getting more secondary Riders before the show is out.

I wouldn't get too worked up about this. The last time Takebe was talking about making a love letter to early Heisei stuff like Faiz and Blade, she ended up making OOO. And while you can map plot elements of OOO onto Faiz and Blade pretty easily, OOO has absolutely nothing of the tone or mood of those shows. That said, it might be able to recapture the look-- Tasaki Ryuta directed 8-10 episodes each of Agito, Ryuki, and Faiz.

It's because the top of the image says "other Riders"

(The box is called "other Riders", with "Rider-tachi" written in the original text, so it's not talking just about Griton. The names alongside each Rider are just for the Arms and Lockseeds used though, not their actual name, so, it's not necessarily three Riders, but should be at least two).

I disagree. It has the plot elements of the early Heisei, and some of the urgency. Though lighter, it fits more into the mythos than Den-O did. The only problem I had with OOO is that there were not enough medals or too many were revealed at one time. Didn't most of the major combinations come by 17? That's when I dropped off the show because to me, it got stale. More like I was watching a series that was dragging out, though moreso with Gobusters than OOO. At least the latter kept it fresh and exciting.

They treated main combos as what we usually got as normal form changes so yeah. By the time Birth was introduced we had seen all but three full combos.

I'm pretty sure that was some kind of misunderstanding. The source for those two lockseeds being Griton's is supposed to be that image itself, but the text there just doesn't support it. "Additional Riders" on top (with the "-tachi" making it explicitly plural), and then each box is called just by the arms.

Here's the full page to show the overall layout:

There's nothing in that image indicating that those three lockseeds are all for a single Rider. Also, note how those three are pushed to the side, separate and smaller than the other Riders and Gaim forms. (Griton also isn't part of the action figure toyline, unlike Zangetsu, which further suggests that he's some kind of less important tertiary Rider).
