How is that "fanon"? Can you cite an actual source that says all Sentais exist in the same universe? It's frankly impossible for them to do so, but I would like to know who in Toei or what Sentai writer ever said that.

It's because of the VS. Series that everyone assumes that all the Sentai are in the same world. It's never really been confirmed, except for Gorangers/JAKQ & Denziman/Sunvulcan.

So, what happened to the dinosaurs in your theoretical Sentai world? And how many alternate dimensions exist?
It's pretty obvious that every Sentai series is written as its own setting with its own world view, but the team up movies ignore that completely. Trying to place the actual tv series together is the actual fanon.
The Sentai movies after Hurricanger seemed to take place in the same continuity, with references to previous teams in each team up, but even that seemingly has been broken by the Shinkenger team up (Go-ongers didn't use the Geki techniques they learned in the other team up, and there was no reference at all to any previous team either).
:hmm: Though, they'd be more of a gang..then rangers. lol

You'd be best going with your own ideas if you ask me. Half the stuff I've read is typical and predictable uninspired fanwank.this thread is going to be SO useful for my future Sentai fics.
