2011 Super Sentai - Rumor Thread

Huh....just noticed, when's the last time we had a primary gun/sword as seperate ones instead of it being the same together?

Just noticed three things:

1) For some odd reason, despite all of the other rangers wielding the GoukaiKens, Goukai-Pink is double wielding GoukaiGuns. Either they are two modes of the same weapon (each Ranger having two, and the extra parts just "appear"), or Pink has an odd arsenal in comparison to the others, at least in the given photo.

2) While Yellow clearly appears to have their "Mobairetsu" phone holstered as a belt buckle (Won't that go well with a Power Rangers anniversary season: Buckle/Phone Morphers?) the others oddly don't seem to have them anywhere, in hand, attached to a weapon or holstered. I wonder why?

3) Also concerning the belts is the lack of any weapon holsters whatsoever. It's possible this is to streamline the designs for when transforming to other "forms," retaining the belt to distinguish them from the real thing (like Decade). Still it is unusual for a "Pirate" themed Sentai to lack the means to "hold" them (like Shinkenger [Samurai] or Kakuranger/Hurricanger [Ninja] or even Magiranger [Wizard]), especially if these are the standard issue gear like the many Swords/Blasters/Shields/"Sticks"/Staves/Etc before them. Do the Phones summon the weapons?

I love the flintlocks and cutlasses! :thumbs: And I'm glad the collars aren't as huge as I was fearing. Any bigger and it'd look like they were trying to go for a Vampire Sentai. :laugh:

I'm still hoping for an evil black ranger since an all black suit would look menacing... Though it might conflict with the idea for past black rangers...

I think it's about time we did get an evil Ranger again.

Ladies and gentlemen; the first pictures for the 2011 Super Sentai have arrived. Thank dukemon22 for putting them up



There one thing I'm suprised about in this picture and that is for the sixth year in a row, there will be no male yellow ranger. Is anybody getting tired of this and would like to go back to the original format? I know I want to go back to that format.

By the way, looking at the suits, I believe the suit actors are the following:

Gokai Red = Hirofumi Fukuzawa
Gokai Blue = Yoshifumi Oshikawa
Gokai Green = Yasuhiro Takeuchi
Gokai Pink = Hitomi Sanae
Gokai Yellow = Mizuho Nogawa or Miwa Hashiguchi

I'm guessing on Yellow 'cause I'm really not sure at this time which is which but I do know one thing; if I'm right about these suit actors then this could the same ones from Shinkenger last year and also this could mean that Yuichi Hachisuka who was Gosei-Pink has been put either put aside or is going to be a suit actor for another character which we will find out in the upcoming weeks.
