Wild Eye Announces Jurassic Shark 3: Seavenge
Millions of years ago, a massive prehistoric shark called the Megalodon terrorized the waves. It’s been extinct for a long time, until now….when the massive direct-to-DVD hunger for cheesy shark movies resurrected the beast! It was a lesson humanity learned too late.
Wild Eye Releasing was responsible for putting out the original Jurassic Shark as well as Jurassic Shark 2: Aquapocalypse. Now the tale becomes a trilogy with the third movie, Seavenge. All you really need to know this time is “big shark chomps people” but Wild Eye goes into a little more detail….
“The unstoppable Megalodon is back, stalking the inhabitants of a stranded boat off the coast of a small fishing community. A reporter, her cameraman and some thieves must work together to finally put an end to this legendary man-eater, but that won’t be easy as this aquatic serial killer has emerged to exact it’s own brand of revenge on them.”
The script for Jurassic Shark 3 was written by Bret McCormick, who’s written a lot of B-movies in his career. The director, likewise, is Mark Polonia, whose resume is full of shameless shark movies including the previous Jurassic Shark. There is no mention of who’s starring in it, but both the DVD and digital versions will include a full audio commentary.
Jurassic Shark 3 is coming for you on DVD and digital June 13.
