Cast List Revealed For Obi-Wan Kenobi Show
The Mandalorian was a success on every level, and is arguably the most significant Star Wars thing to be released in the last few years (consider that Episode 9 came out the same year Mando debuted, and the latter dominated conversation instead). The future of Star Wars is on television, at least for the present time, and Disney and Lucasfilm have about ten billion shows in the hopper to take advantage of that. One of them, Obi-Wan Kenobi, is finally under way after a delay of two years. It was originally announced in 2019 and we might have seen it by now, but delays occurred in pre-production. Seems the original premise was Obi-Wan trying to protect Kid Luke, which…sounds a lot like the thing we just watched. Now they say they have an original idea, and have signed a row of talent to play the parts. The list includes Moses Ingram (The Queen’s Gambit), Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick), Indira Varma (Game of Thrones), Rupert Friend (Homeland), O’Shea Jackson Jr.
