343 Industries has taken a rather unique approach to updating Halo 5: Guardians and releasing new content for the title. Rather than simply releasing paid DLC map packs, they have taken to offer free title updates every few weeks that include new maps, REQs, armor, weapons, vehicles and features. This trend is continuing into at least next month and the developer has now released information about the latest update.
Some of the changes coming to Halo 5: Guardians in the Memories of Reach update have been revealed by developer 343 Industries in a blog post on Halo Waypoint. Most significant among them is a change to the enemy known as Warden Eternal, who acts as the primary antagonist throughout the campaign. According to the senior systems designer Chris Proctor, encounters with the Warden are more difficult than intended and as such he will be nerfed.
