While Nintendo has been dominating the headlines this week with the reveal of the new Nintendo Switch console, another special exclusive Nintendo 3DS item has popped up online this week. Amazon is now selling a special exclusive Nintendo New 3DS XL Special Edition Lime Green.
Some new footage for Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice has found its way online in a new livestream by Sega (via Siliconcera). You can check out the video in the player below. The new game features Sonic the Hedgehog and his pals, who have to stop Dr. Eggman and an evil robot named D-Fekt from destroying the environment.
Nintendo and the Pokemon Company have released a video that has shown off many new details about the upcoming Pokemon Sun and Moon games. First up, the games will release on November 18th of this year, so the wait will not have to be as long as many thought.
In a chat with Game Informer, Bravely Default Co-Producer Masashi Takahashi talked about the second game in the series, End Layer, and revealed how the game was massively improved via a strenuous Q&A process, as well as getting feedback from fans:

There has been a lot of buzz and anticipation concerning the next Nintendo platform, the NX. Which is interesting given we know little to nothing about it. It’s widely believed that we’ll learn more about the NX this year, the question though was when.
Nintendo is a lot of things, one that many think is a negative is that they can be really rigid in their beliefs. One such belief was that they would never “have the need” to do mobile gaming, as their handhelds have been mega hits every single time along with consoles. However, this all changed when Nintendo partnered up with DeNA to kickstart a new mobile game initiative. So why the change of heart? While they may not be moving away from the console and handheld market, the popularity of the mobile market can’t be denied, as Nintendo of America executive Scott Moffit told Examiner:

E3 is less than a month away, and the eyes of the gaming world are all waiting with anticipation on what the gaming companies both big and small will reveal. For Nintendo, you could argue they have the most to gain, and the most to lose if their E3 doesn’t go well, both critically and in the eyes of fans.
