Pokemon Shuffle Coming To Mobile Devices
Nintendo is officially beginning their trek to mobile devices! Or at least for their games anyway.
Nintendo has announced that their incredibly popular Pokemon Shuffle game will be coming to mobile devices. In case you don’t know how shuffle plays, you play “By matching three or more Pokémon, players can deal damage and whittle down their opponents. Fans can even battle through difficult stages by using Mega-Evolved Pokémon.”
Much like in regular Pokemon games, you’ll be able to get more and more Pokemon to battle with, and types and advantages still apply, making this a very deep mobile game, no matter where you play it.
In fact, Pokemon Shuffle has already been download over 4.5 million times, so no doubt Nintendo sees an opportunity to widen its range by bringing it to mobile devices. Much like the 3DS version, the game will be free to download and play. With microtransactions only coming via certain parts of the game, but never inhibiting how you play.
With Nintendo’s partnership with DeNA, and the hopefully soon reveal of the NX and possibly the next Nintendo handheld, we could be seeing a lot more Nintendo games coming to mobile platforms in the near future. Stay tuned.
