They Reach Reaches Toward DVD And Digital November 3
Uncork’d Entertainment is preparing the spooky tale They Reach for a post-Halloween release in early November. It’s the late 70s, and a young science geek stumbles upon an old reel-to-reel tape player (in a location neither the description nor the trailer specify). We don’t know where she got it, but the first time she turns it on, it plays monster growls — and bleeds! She probably shouldn’t touch the Play button ever again, but she and her friends can’t resist. Now the demonic creature brought forth by the tape player is skukling around her small-town community, looking for souls to devour. The beast is quite messy about it too, making large CRUNCH noises every time it takes a victim. It may be easy to find, but how will they defeat it? They Reach stars Mary Madaline Roe, Morgan Chandler, Eden Campbell, Kyan Zielinski, Elizabeth Rhoades, Ash Calder, Frederick Floyd, Kara Puerschner, and Adrienne Jordan. It was written and directed by Sylas Dall, and it’ll creep onto DVD and VOD formats
Amazon prime renewed “The Boys” for third season!
Netflix fan usually worries about the 2 season curse. Many Netflix shows got canceled after the second season making it a waste of time investment for fans because they will never have their close. It is ironic because years ago, Netflix got hailed as the savior of canceled tv shows. Netflix used to be the rescuer of the canceled Network television shows and gave their fanbase a fighting chance. Now Netflix had been canceling originals left and right, even if they win Emmies, or they have a loyal fanbase. Amazon prime did cancel some of their programs but not as severe as Netflix does. Fans of the Amazon Prime Original “The Boys” can now breathe because even before they film the successful Second Season. The Adult rated Superhero show got renewed for a 3rd season! The 3rd season will start filming next year with the hopes of the pandemic being over. While waiting for the Season 3, Fans can enjoy Prime Rewind: Inside The Boys. It is an after-show hosted
Tatiana Maslany denies the announcement she will play She-Hulk
A month ago, Mark Ruffalo, the actor who plays The Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, congratulated Tatiana Maslany for being cast to play his cousin She-hulk. Marvel Showrunner Jessica Gao and Director Kat Coiro congratulated her too. Most of the fans have a positive response to this cast announcement, but some few ones oppose because they want Allison Brie to get the coveted role of Jennifer Walters AKA The She-hulk. Media sites everywhere made a piece of news about this announcement. I do like the casting choice of Tatiana Maslany because she is such an amazing actress. Her ability to play multiple roles in Orphan Black is outstanding. She-Hulk is a witty and sassy character. Before Deadpool and Harley Quinn break the 4th wall, She-Hulk did it first. All the celebration of her so-called casting now falls down the drain. Recently in an Interview, Maslany denies all the announcements that she will be playing She-Hulk in an upcoming TV series and MCU. Tatiana said: “Actually isn’t a real thing
Playhouse Arrives On Digital November 17
After a screening at London’s Frightfest last August, North American distributor Devilworks has picked up the supernatural horror film Playhouse for distribution. It’ll be arriving on VOD formats next month. A famous horror writer is looking for inspiration to craft his new play. But there doesn’t seem to be much of that around, so he moves into an ancient abandoned castle and drags along his teenage daughter. Sucks to be her. He finds the inspiration he was looking for, or rather, it finds them. If they can escape the horror they wandered into, the writer should have plenty to draw on for his play. Next time, though, may I suggest renting a scary movie? Playhouse stars William Holstead (Shudder Original ‘Christmas Presence’) Grace Courtney, James Rottger (BBCs ‘The Break’) and Helen Mackay (BBC’s ‘The Miracle Maker’). It was produced and directed by brothers Fionn and Toby Watts, and it’s coming to digital platforms November 17. As Frightfest comes to a close, World sales agent and North American distributor Devilworks has
New Coriolis Adventure Announced By Free League
Free League Publishing has announced a new Coriolis adventure is on the way…The Last Cyclade, the second part of the Mercy of the Icons campaign. Far above in the darkness of space, a lone ship waits to enter the portal. Its crew stands ready to complete their mission: to reach the ghost ship Zafirah first to unveil the truth behind one of the horizon’s most ominous mysteries… Many months ago, the destroyer Zafirah vanished. Now she is back, in a time of turmoil as the council and authorities are questioned, and people begin to revolt against their oppressors. The throat of the Third Horizon is exposed, and this is when something ancient rises from the shadows. Coriolis was conceived by game designers Mattias Johnsson Haake, Mattias Lilja and Martin Grip as a sci-fi tabletop game set in a remote cluster of star systems called The Third Horizon. It is a place ravaged by conflicts and war, but also home to proud civilizations, both new and old. Here, the First Come
Ps5 introduces a report option against cyberbullies on voice chat
One of the most stressful parts of gaming online is dealing with trolls and bullies. It is quite common for the voice chat feature that causes a lot of drama. Your teammate or opponent can be offensive, disrespectful, and hostile. I had dealt with racist twelve-year-olds from multiple first-person shooters. I usually turn off the voice chat, but voice chat is necessary for games where you have teammates. Usually, some immature people can be hostile with someone who have a foreign accent. In fighting games, I had dealt with salty people who will scream at you when they lost to you or will mock you if you got defeated by them. Then there are those players who scream a lot to distract you so they will win. Female gamers had dealt with sexist male players who disrespect them. Whether they win or lose. To make it worst, some men will sexually harass them on voice chat. If there will be a decrease in the harassment of women in voice chat
My Summer As A Goth Coming To VOD
123 Go Films has announced they’ll be publishing Tara Johnson-Medinger’s coming-of-age film My Summer As A Goth on VOD platforms later this fall. Life is rough for 16-year-old Joey Javitts. Her father just died, her mother is busy on tour promoting her new book, and she’s been deposited at her grandparents’ place for the whole summer, where she knows no one. It’s almost enough to make you dress in black, isn’t it? But this isn’t enough to push her there. What drives Joey into gothness is the cute neighborhood boy she just met, who is already a goth. To fit in with his similarly dressed friends, Joey breaks out the black nail polish and fishnets. But is she doing it for herself, or for him? Joey is of the age where she isn’t sure who she really is. This is the summer where she finds out. My Summer As A Goth stars Natalie Shershow, Jack Levis, Fayra Teeters, Jonas Israel, Jenny White, Carter Allen, Eduardo Reyes, Rachelle Henry, Lorraine Bahr,
How To Make It In Bloomywood
David Meyers is a screenwriter currently developing several projects. One is a TV project starring Michael Shannon called “We Will Not Be Silent,” originally developed as a stage play before COVID made such things hard to pull off. He’s also preparing a pitch to Netflix for a young adult comedy pilot. But in the meantime, he’s keeping himself busy with his current creation, Bloomywood. Bloomywood is the take of Michael Bloomstein, a hapless young artist trying (and failing) to make it in Tinseltown. The series consists of a string of shorts now watchable on YouTube, like this one: “The Gist.” Bloomstein is prepared to pitch his script, if he can get the chance…and if he can even figure out where “the chance” is. It gets worse…this woman is his career coach. In this longer short she explains how to be “assertive,” refuses to read his script and keeps steering the conversation toward payment for her services. Unfortunately the young man picks up on none of these red flags because he’s
Drew Struzan Inducted To Society Of Illustrators Hall of Fame
The Society Of Illustrators has just inducted another artist into their Hall of Fame..it’s poster painter Drew Struzan. And everybody who knows him is celebrating. If you know who Drew Struzan is, then your only comment right now is “why didn’t this happen sooner?” If you don’t, he’s the painter behind some of cinema’s most iconic posters. The original Star Wars art with Luke lifting the lightsaber aloft? Struzan. All three (yup, there are just three) Indiana Jones posters? Struzan. Marty McFly lifting his sunglasses and looking at his watch with a shocked expression? Totally Struzan. Filmmaker Erik Sharkey once directed a documentary about Struzan entitled Drew:The Man Behind the Poster. Upon the announcement of his induction, Sharkey pooled his resources with another filmmaker named Jim Sanders, and they called up everyone they could get whose careers have been helped by Struzan for a special congratulatory video. Special guests of this presentation include: Harrison Ford, Frank Darabont, Dean DeBlois, Sam Witwer, Bob Gale, Greg Nicotero, Leonard Maltin, Floyd Norman, Greg
Assassin’s creed Valhalla 30 minute gameplay video released today
The Assassin’s Creed series had made us travel back in time from different periods like the Crusades, Victorian era, Ancient Egypt, Civil War United States, Roman empire, and now the last legs of the Viking era. The main protagonist is Eivor. He is the war chief of the Raven Clan. The game starts with Valhalla, a Viking Settlement in England. In this game, you can make alliances with any of the four Kingdoms of England, Assassinate rivals, and fight wars. Replay value is guaranteed with this game because your decision can lead to multiple routes that will affect the ending of the game. The game has an open world where you can make side quests aside from pursuing the story. You can feel this is a new Gen game because of the stunning graphics that are more impressive than its predecessor. Unlike the past Assasin’s Creed that uses Parkour as part of the stealth, Valhalla doesn’t have Parkour or free running. During the Age of the Vikings, tall buildings are
The GTA VI Trailer Is Here NOW; The Game Won’t Come ‘Til 2025
Rockstar said they’d release the GTA VI trailer tomorrow, December 5. But then a leak happened today and the company was like “screw it, here it is officially.” Behold: for the first time ever, this is what a Grand Theft Auto made with modern technology can look like: I’d imagine Rockstar is fed up with leaks by this point; we knew about the Vice City setting and the dual protagonists from the previous big leak last year. They know how to make an impressive trailer though and if you think you’ve seen this game, you really haven’t. The soft pastels bring to mind the 80s-set Vice City from 2002, still the favorite GTA of many. This area has of course been updated for modern times with streaming phone videos, twerking, screeching Karens and alligators popping up in all sorts of places. And we now know the names of the characters in the Bonnie and Clyde single-player campaign: Lucia and Jason. Unfortunately the trailer also confirms we WON’T be getting any
Suicide Squad ISEKAI Coming In 2024
Warner Bros Japan released a full trailer for their upcoming anime movie Suicide Squad ISEKAI today. It’s just the latest in an unexpected avalanche of Suicide Squad related material from DC — we’ve had movies, we’ve had shows, we’ve had new comics and there will at some point be a video game. This reporter never thought he’d have to write the words “Amanda Waller” so many times. What brought all this on? Did some weird data from an algorithm dictate the Suicide Squad couldn’t lose? Because they have lost, several times — the original film was kind of a flop. James Gunn’s fix-up follow-up THE Suicide Squad was much better (it’s one of my favorite superhero films personally) but box office wise it didn’t become a hit either. Why so much, and why now? Anyway, pile an anime onto all that. The setup is that Waller somehow discovers a portal to another dimension full of magic and monsters, and recruits the Squad for a secret mission to infiltrate said dimension
