Episode 4 was not as good as the first two-parter. While I liked the duel itself, the conclusion of it was not that great. Mainly because the resolution ended up being fireworks. It's like....what? I thought it was a great twist that Professor Ukyo was the villain in the last episode as I did not see it coming at all, but still, the resolution was kind of weak.
Now, the idea of Yuma being able to use the Numbers' that he has collected is rather Cardcaptor Sakura-ish, but I like it. That being said, I hope that some rivals for the Numbers show up eventually because Yuma with tens of Numbers is just too broken. I think they'll come eventually.
This show really wouldn't work as well if Astral wasn't in it. Him and Yuma's banter really make the show. I hope that this really does turn into a Hikaru no Go type deal where Yuma eventually becomes a better duelist through his experience with Astral because right now, he really sucks at it (huh. That's pretty unique too. A lead duelist who isn't crazy awesome at dueling from episode 1)
Next episode better not be a two-parter seriously...
Also, about Yuma's catchphrase. "Kattobingu, Ore" is kind of like "Dattebayo" in which it's one of those words that doesn't have a real English translation. Probably the best idea for one would be "Bring it to 'em" like it was translated.
(I love how the VA for Left-Ankh voices Astral and has the same Ankh/Eiji relationship as him)
