Maybe, Kabuto feels sad and cannot concentrate because he lost his universe and couldn't do anything, then Stronger comes, mentors him, and then they have a fight, Stronger wins, but Tendou learns something.

If something like this were ever to be done, and I hope one day it happens, then I can imagine both of the original Riders showing up...so I'll do my list differently. (though if it were up to me, I'd just toss in the original six and let them be the "ultra brothers" of the franchise).

Story: Very basic story about an ex-Shocker henchmen (being an average old man yet passionate about his past life) getting possessed by an Imagin and wishing to go back in time to stop Shocker from ever creating the first Kamen Rider (and essentially saving Shocker), involving multiple time traveling and whatnot.

I think the thing is the FIRST/NEXT versions now almost feel like very different characters from the originals, to me. I dunno, maybe more people will know what I mean after they see THE NEXT. Because don't get me wrong, I like the new suits and the revamped characters, but they feel like an "elseworlds" thing to me, whereas the TV ones are the "definitive" versions.

I wouldn't mind if they made new suits where they tweaked the original designs a bit, like used more leathery material (rather than cloth) and upped the detail to bring out some of the rivets and things on the masks, but I'd want them to keep them as true as possible to how they last looked on TV. So I guess sort of a midway point between the TV originals & the revamped movie designs.

I can definitely understand what you mean -- I haven't seen The Next yet, but I have seen The First and Hongo and Ichimonji where WAAAAY different than the bits I've seen from the original series and the first episode of V3.

I like the original Hongo and Kazami a lot, and though his personality is cool I think Ichimonji is a little goofy looking. Still, I kinda prefer him to the self -serving Ichimonji from The First that dresses like the captain of a Luxury Yacht.

And thanks for the answer -- when I first started getting into Kamen Rider a couple years back I used to visit your site all the time to read up about the old school riders.:thumbs:

reading this thread make me hope even more that Bandai will release strategy game like Super Robot Taisen but with Kamen Rider character, although it may be impossible
(but as far as I know, there are tokusatsu's RPG-strategy Sega Dreamcast's game with Kamen Rider, Ultraman, and Sentai on it, right?!)
