Active and Non-active members of HJU have nothing to do with this. There are people who haven't been on in forever, but all of a sudden, they come back. What, you have 35 posts, but you joined in 2007. Weren't you inactive yourself?
It really is not a matter of active or non-active members, but more of a case of
who should be a mod and how well they can do the job (not just join the mod force for the sake of being a mod, which is what I've seen and do not approve of). And no, I don't wanna hear people saying, "Oh, I'm not like that." There is no mod for just a SPECIFIC section. If you're a mod, you're a mod of the forum, not section. This is one reason why I'd rather not see a mod for the RPG Section, because there wouldn't be JUST a mod for the RPG section.
Even if you're given mod powers, what are the chances of you abusing them? And I doubt ANYONE doesn't have the tendency to want to abuse their own mod powers.
Seriously, again, no need for a mod in the RPG section. I honestly can't find anyone in the RPG section responsible for the job (I'm sorry guys for saying that, but that's how I see it. I know some people who are pig-headed who have been around HJU but mostly frequent the RPG section. If someone wronged that person, they can automatically just say, "I don't like you. Infract." I would know. I'm sure I've made enemies here.).
So please, just end the discussion. We've already unanimously agreed that there should be no mods for the RPG section...
