What about Goranger? It's quite the same, only on the sky and they even spin their bodies before transformation.

Wtf are you talking about? The GOrangers can henshin anywhere. All they have to do is spin around and say GO~ and they change.

Re. the practicality of having to stop and do a long henshin sequence - It wouldn't work in the real world, no, but then very few things in toku actually would. Sentai is much worse for this with the bad guys just standing there while the whole team does roll-call and henshin poses

If the above bugs you then toku, anime, and pretty much anything that requires you to not bring the world into it wouldn't be for you.

WTF? 5 pages and no one's mentioned Tensouder? That big, smiling brick that eats cards? It makes Magi Shine's ticket puncher seem cool and bad-ass.

I also think Ginga Brace is pretty damn fugly and awkward.

I also think Ginga Brace is pretty damn fugly and awkward.

Ugly is a matter of taste, but just exactly how is it awkward?

I think it's an unnecessarily humongous eyesore of a brace -- like if the Tensouder was slapped onto a wristband. And even suspending disbelief -- the Gingaman are always spot on where they turn that dial? Have you tried that with the toy? :laugh:

Gingaman was a nice, retro throwback, so I think it needed something a little more simple, in terms of design and how it functioned.

Then there is nothing awkward about it, you just don't like the look. Yes I have the toy, and it is a lot of fun and works.

Lazy? Any more lazy than just tapping the chrono changer? I mean come on now. There is nitpicking and then there is nitpicking.

I'm with whoever said the Faiz Gear. That Rubix Cube of a belt. Even simplified it's still pretty ridiculous.

Also the Tensouder. Least favorite henshin device from Sentai ever.

And yeah, OOO's belt sucks too. Slamming in all those coins, then scanning them?

I miss the Blade belt. That thing SMACKED villains if they tried to attack before he was through. :thumbs:
