Why bash boybands?

I also grew up listening to boyabands like Backstreet Boys and Nsync from the late 90's and early 2000's. They weren't that bad actually and the songs were pretty catchy

There's that point in a person's life that you grow out of the trends of listening to boy bands and start bashing them, then another point comes where you grow out of bashing them and appreciate their music since it reminds you of your innocent childhood.

I think this is part of the reason I don't really rag on Bieber too hard anymore, because as dumb and noisy and his fans can get, I used to be like that a long time ago so it's really no place for me to judge. n__n;; though in my 14-year-old opinion, Chris Kirkpatrick was always cooler than Biebs will ever be.

And no, I'm replying as a defense-type thing. If you had given me a good reason, I wouldn't say anything right now. But saying "they suck", that's just not enough.

What difference does it make? Any reason I could give you would still just be an opinion, and we've shown that we don't give a **** about other people's opinions here, which is why I didn't feel the need to ask your permission to post (thanks for trying to deny me the right, though). Saying boybands suck is more than enough if you're not going to listen to or consider what I have to say anyway because it doesn't agree with your own stance.

And Rainboy, I'm sorry that my erudition intimidates you. Maybe someday if your ideas ever hold any weight you'll realize that a single normative statement just sometimes isn't enough.
