TOONAMI RETURNS!!

They didn't use the original openings until #4, though (I don't think they used Op 8 or 9, either since they took it off and such).

They cancelled Naruto by the time they reached the 8th opening........they got sick of the filler arcs like the rest of us

Any news on the list of shows going to be on toonami

It's a couple of pages back.

Long story short, it will (most likely) be a 3 hour block (which will run twice back to back) and the new anime are Deadman Wonderland and Casshern Sins.

This is getting ridiculous, we've got one thread going on in the General Discussion and another in the AniComix. Either we merge both threads, or close one.

They don't have a ton of money, so the custom intros will probably only be 15 seconds, like they were for April Fools.

Also, apparently Casshern Sins is on Netflix, so there's another reason not to watch it here. They must have gotten it for peanuts.

Naruto.... I want to go back in time, bitchslap the anime producers and make them delete all the filler so it would have never been made .

Casshern and Deadman... the latter I have never heard about, and I want to be left in the dark so I don't get spoiled please.

That's one of the reasons why my optimism isn't very high for the Toonami return........I already saw this show and didn't care any bit for it after I watched the first 2 episodes on Netflix (won't spoil for the rest of you guys that haven't).

Deadman Wonderland, I'll think about it and prolly take a sneak peak at it myself. It might be the only reason I'll watch the Toonami comeback, just to see if that show is any good or not.

I loved Casshern Sins, but I never actually got to watch more than the first 15 episodes or so. I'll definitely be giving the dub a watch if only just to see what the cast is like and to finish out the series. I hope the ratings do well enough for the block to get a little more money in the near future. I would kinda love for them to remember that they didn't show just anime. It'd be cool to see a DC property that doesn't need to censor itself too much or maybe even airings of the DC Animated Features.

Deadman Wonderland stops at chapter 20 something of the manga, so there's not too much to spoil anyway.

They have "the new Thundercats" and Young Justice on their god damn channel.........I dunno why they just add re-runs of those shows onto the "new Toonami." I mean if they're bleeding money, they really don't have to spend much just to use shows THEY ALREADY HAVE on their "new Toonami programing block." ****, they kept Bleach and FMA Brotherhood.......just add "the new Thundercats" and Young Justice as the early programing hour for the new Toonami block to help ease the transition in a bit.

The old Toonami had the original Thundercats for crying out loud
