I can't believe Code Lyoko is coming back! It feels like forever since we first got lost in that virtual world. Having the original cast and crew return is a huge win for nostalgia and continuity. I just hope they pick up where they left off without losing that charm.

I loved how the show mixed classic adventure vibes with deeper themes, like friendship and self-discovery. I'm curious how they'll handle the storytelling this time around. The funny thing is that Code Lyoko was talking about dangerous AI before it became a daily conversation online. Back then it was just a cool villain that attacked factories and schools. Now people are seriously debating how much control technology should have in our lives. Revisiting XANA in 2026 actually makes a lot of sense. I think there is room to explore modern issues without losing the adventure aspect that made the show fun. I just do not want it to become overly serious all the time. Part of the charm was watching these kids balance homework, friendships, and saving the world before dinner.

I think people are being a little too harsh on the old animation. It was made with the technology and budget they had at the time. Not every show from the early 2000s had to look perfect. What mattered was that Code Lyoko had ambition. It tried to do something different, and people still remember it decades later. That says a lot.

I really hope they age up the characters. I do not need another story pretending nobody has changed after twenty years. Show me adult Jeremy trying to manage responsibilities while dealing with XANA again. Show me how Yumi and Ulrich turned out. Let these people evolve. Fans who grew up with them are adults now too, so it feels like the right direction.
