TOONAMI RETURNS!!

I said this already, but shows like Young Justice and Thundercats probably would have worked if Toonami came back to CN proper, but not for the audience [adult swim] has. And since they're technically two different networks, can they even air those shows if they wanted to?

Maybe something with more "adult" appeal, like the Marvel anime or that Black Panther animated series, would work if they wanted some American animation. And maybe when this block gets more developed, they could take the last hour and a half of [as] comedy and air the DC animated movies every once in a while, like they used to do when Toonami first moved to Saturday nights.

No Peter Cullen doing Toonami commercials tho......

So who do you have in mind to "sell" the shows? Cause...

Suit Up
Wild West Y2K Style
Good Guys Wear Black
Love Stinks
It's all in the cards
Saving the world without a clue...priceless...come and get it.
Saving the world one hamster at a time...big things come in small packages.
Old memories seldom fade and old habits die hard.

Now that's selling a product just can't be replaced that easily.

PS: If you say Gary Chaulk....:shakefist

he's got something better to do anyway (TF Prime :buttrock: )

He can do TR Prime...great...just have him sell some Toonami on the side.

I'm be recording my thoughts on this on my podcast this weekend.

I've said before and I'll say it again. Let's not forget that Toonami use to have many nuggets of joy between TV shows. Cartoon shorts, montages of their cartoons set to their original music, reviews of games, etc. Lets hope they keep these things in there. That will make it a little more worth it.

And please, everyone, just watch Toonami and support it. I know this isn't the line up we were all expecting, but they said it themselves. They need our support to get more funding so they can bring us even more programming that we'll love. We came together to get Toonami back on the air, we can work together to make Toonami just as glorious as it ever was, if not better.

Boy do I wish I was in America right now.

Is there any way I couyld watch Cartoon Network USA on TVU or any similar program?

When they get more funding they should take into consideration how many episodes does that anime have, and by many, how many filler is between the meat? And in addition, I say they should kill of Adult Swim for the weekends as its filler, but add The Boondocks Season 4 to Toonami and its reruns. What things new do they play on weekend nights aside from the morning?

While I believe the DC Nation block is a great idea, it needs to be pushed to Sundays to directly compete with Marvel , to where Batman would be introduced with. Leave Saturday mornings to the other stuff, where I'd recommend them to move Adventure Time and Regular Show to. Perhaps that would suffice as a Miguzi /Toonami mornings revival? Just add Code Lyoko and Spiez for flavor. Thundercats WON'T suffice as an Avatar competitor unless it is tackled far better.

Technically , they should split Adult Swim to another network as its a parasite to the Cartoon Network Proper. I feel that since DC Nation will fail, they might as well make it a part of Toonami if and when it gets back to speed.

People need to keep in mind that this isn't just Toonami getting back on it's feet and running at full speed. This is a seed. It needs time to grow. They don't have a lot of money. I mean I would of love to see something besides Bebop and Ghost in the Shell. Nothing against them but they've been on the air forever now. It's time they take a rest. But for now I'll wait cause I know things will get better. Keep in mind this is going to have shows a little more adult then there used to having but at the same time this is a block that used to air DBZ and then Hamtaro. Anything is possible.

And people complaining about Bleach. It's one of the most popular animes in the states. They'd be a dumbass to not keep airing it. Stop thinking about what you would like and think about what the general audience would like. Cause listening to stuff like that is going to be the most annoying part of this thing coming back.
