People, please commence putting your head between your knees and kissing your butt goodbye..........

Can't arrest you if they can't find you. All they have are IP and email addresses, usernames and passwords. An IP address can only identify what country you're in, and the email can identify your ISP (unless you use Hotmail or Gmail or something), but that's as close as they'll get. They don't have enough info to track down us end users! :)

When MF gets banned torrents will be our final hope

Also will you get arrested for downloading Tokusatsu from megaupload?

I have made an extensive search on the internet concerning this case and I have not found one place (other than that video) that states the users/downloaders/uploaders on the site will be arrested or punished. (Of course that does not mean that it is not possible)Apparently Megaupload had more than 125 million users (approx 25% of internet users) from countries all over the world, so the manpower that would be necessary is simply unrealistic. Trying to catch a fraction of that would be hard. Plus, the fact that the site was supported in some form or another by top name celebrities means that many users were most likely unaware of its illegal nature (or so they would claim), and though ignorance of the law is not a defence, being tricked or made to believe that it was official is. Also, the site did have a good percentage of it being used for legit purposes such as PC/non-illegal file backup.
There is without a doubt that this incident has put downloaders/uploads onto the feds radar, and that they probably will be watching the net more carefully from now on.
I am in NO way saying that bad stuff will not happen, but logically speaking, it would be extremely difficult, if not impossible in some cases. *Please correct me if I am wrong.
Plus considering celebrities were the ones pushing and supporting the site all these years, they would stand to be charged too, correct or not?

They won't be going after the users. It would take far too much resources to go after even one user let alone all of them.

Don't listen this guy, his just trying scary people into getting views which is working. sensationalism at it finest.

Besides there not going after the users just the people that run the company, so relax. The FBI Can't sort out 25 million people. it will take years and a lot of tax payer money to go throw all those files .
