What internet freedoms that don't involve doing illegal stuff exactly do these corporations take away from you?

By that logic, those very corporations should be sued for breaking more laws and stealing from the artists than it is given credit. Let's not forget how much money they have pulled to bribe our elected officials to achieve their ends notwithstanding taking our 1st Amendment rights away in the progress.

If for a slight chance SOPA/PIPA passes, combine that with the NDAA and we can kiss being a republican democracy goodbye. We'll all be in camps and be executed under their whims. The ludicrous thing about everything is that they always claimed x new technology would lead to y more piracy. IT has EXPANDED the market each time an innovation has came. IF they really want to get ahead of this, why not take advantage of new technology and use it for their profit gain and not fight it?
