I liked Del Rio's 2nd match. He's got some good moves. If he continues like this and isn't watered down into ass **** with a 3 move set then he can pretty much steal Rey's spot as top Mexican AND top heel on SD.

That's the current plan right now, except they want to turn him babyface later on.

Dude, the fact ANYONE would want a prestigious title such as the Intercontinental title GONE is giving me penis cramps. Without that title there would be NONE of the big names we have now (minus Hogan). The IC title was and still is one of the ultimate stepping stones.

If anything it's the World title that needs to vanish. ONLY 1 Supreme title is meant to be hense the term supreme.

I agree, the IC Title gives credibility to people and is a great way to start a push to someone who isn't ready for a World Title yet.
And having one world title is also a good thing because they would think more when they choose who to have as the champion, therefore, Khali doesn't end up winning it at all, Cena doesn't water it down, and Sheamus takes more time to get it.

Although there are some cons.
MITB can't be given to anyone either, unless you get the holder to lose.
WrestleMania main events are a bit predictable, because we all know who's going to face the champion after the Royal Rumble.
This also reduces chances for others to main event for a world title at WM, because only the RR Winner will get a shot, and there is no other world championship main event to look forward to.
