The S.H.Figuarts Thread's Sixth Ranger

The mantis is so bizarre a figure, that I have to have it. Also, glancing over my Figuarts collection, I do have to say, Bandai has been really bad with keeping scale on this line. It's quite odd to see Ranka Lee and Asuka from Senran Kagura tower over the Kamen Riders and Z Warriors. I do like that Shishio Makoto is a giant compared to the heroes though...

Agreed. The One Piece, Naruto & Bleach Zeroes have been in-scale with S.H. Figuarts for the most part. But then when I got Kenshin, I wasn't happy with how big he was. Especially since Kenshin is supposed to be a small man to begin with.

Same problem with Zessica. I really don't like them starting to make Zeroes bigger and thus raising the price on them. The whole point of Zeroes was that their smaller size made them more affordable than other statue lines. It's why I only have six P.O.P.s but I have well over fifty One Piece Zeroes. I've already considered skipping ALL non-One Piece or Naruto Zeroes from here on out.

While I don't have the same argument as you, I used to get the One Piece Stylings, but now I am only getting the Figuarts Zeros. They have more characters out, they aren't as expensive as the POPs, and honestly, I think they look better than the POPs.

I was going to bring up Kenshin being huge in my last post, too, since I found that pretty weird. The Baki FZ's are gigantic too, so Biscuit Oliva looks like he could go toe-to-toe with Magnugiga. While I do like have a single (with two branches) toy line that pretty much has all my favorite Japanese characters in it (hopefully Iron Man's a good start on Western heroes too), the scale difference is pretty jarring. I just got Sheryl Nome and she's tall too, but I'm sure when I get Pao-Lin Huang from Tiger and Bunny she'll be super tiny.

And I like Figuarts more than Figma, so that's why'd I would prefer Rayearth Figuarts over Figmas. Plus, Max Factory probably wouldn't touch the mecha...

So I'm probably gonna get the Figma Kiritsuga (so he and Wolfwood can share a smoke and a gun on my shelf) but after that I am seriously considering adding Knight Survive to my preorder list on top of everything else. The question is how I will feel about getting Knight and not Ryuki. Anybody have any theories as to how well these two will sell? I would like to wait until they are out and let the price drop a little, but I fear them selling out and me missing my chance at them (at least at base price).
