Things I enjoyed from this week's RAW were the New Day winning the opening tag match against Orton and Ambrose. The US Open Challenge was a good match between Cena and Ziggler. Him stopping the match because of a fan proposing to his gf was different for sure. That was about it.
Everything was just wow. Some of it was odd. We had obvious squash matches (Dudleyz beating Ascension), Kevin Owens/Kallisto to the random tag match between the four Europeans (Sheamus and Barrett defeating Cesaro and Neville). I didn't mind the Divas matches although I don't remember the last time a Missile Dropkick was a finisher to a match (Brie and Alicia Fox defeating Charlotte and Becky). And now comes the last two things I thought was bad or sad. Roman Reigns was crapped on in that Chicago crowd. To ask him to deliver a long promo is not his strengths which lead to the Boring chant. He's better off keeping it short and simple. Liked that he talked back to the crowd though. Maybe he's better off as a heel. I understand the finish to his countout win over Stroman. It keeps Stroman looking strong of course. Did the WWE just kill the Rusev/Summer/Lana storyline? I was shocked they had to use Rusev's real engagement with Lana. To kill it off like this was very weird but oh well, if it's over then it's over. Lastly, I just laugh at this Rollins/Kane feud. Kane beating Rollins is just too much. Lol.

Finally went to a live event, and a dream has come true in not only that, but the fact that it had Chris Jericho, Kane and the Undertaker (in perhaps one of the last ever chances we will have of seeing him live).
I might as well give a brief summary:

The event began with Ric Flair himself coming out to welcome us. For a moment I thought they were playing a video (I couldn't see much of the tron from where I was sitting) since Tony Chimel sounded exactly like he does on TV and I thought it was playback; Flair took his time to come out. The usual words: he thanked us for being fans and said the best fans in the world are here in Mexico (Merida, more specifically). The Miz then interrupted. I forgot he had the camera flashes before the "AWESOME" hit so I didn't know what was going on for a moment. He started to say his usual heat-building stuff but then Flair dropped the mic and started stylin' and profilin' around the ring until he exited and left the Miz in the middle speechless. "WOOO!" As he was about to reach the curtains, Cesaro's music hit, they bowed to each other and hugged.
Cesaro vs The Miz
Great match. They did all their spots and near-finishers. Many teases for Cesaro's swing until he was able to do it near the end. Lost count of how many swings Cesaro did but they were more than 10. Crowd reacted well to both wrestlers. They did some funny antics with Miz's sunglasses. Cesaro won with the Neutralizer. Both of them performed perfectly IMO. As he was leaving, Cesaro took a moment to pose for a selfie with some people next to the ramp.
Four-Way Elimination Match for the Tag Team Titles: Lucha Dragons vs Prime Time Players vs Los Matadores vs New Day (Woods & Langston) (c)
Another great one. Everyone did a splending job in this one too. The Lucha Dragons said some words before their match since this is Mexico, of course. Cheap pops. New Day initially came out to cheers, it also helped that Xavier was coming out with a huge trumpet. When they reached the ring a nice "New Day Sucks" chant began, which they acknowledged. Woods then started playing the trumpet at ringside, but Titus interrupted him in a funny way. Woods got back up and played the tune of "La Cucaracha". The crowd started to sing along but he stopped midway through and yelled that was all we get. That's when the first boos began. There were only 2 people in the ring at a time, which meant a team would have to forcefully tag themselves in. The match began with Woods vs Sin Cara (or was it Kalisto?). Can't recall the exact details but the match was really good. Lucha Dragons got a huge pop as expected, and they helped give even more heat to New Day. PTP really shined, and Titus served as the powerhouse of the match. If this is how they perform every week, I'm willing to watch their matches now. The Matadores were initially cheered but after PTP were eliminated, the crowd caught up with the fact they're heels. As they gained the upper hand on the Lucha Dragons, Torito came out and attacked them. I didn't know they were now feuding. I usually don't care much for El Torito, but this was funny enough, the crowd liked him too. Torito ensured the Matadores got elminated. Finally the Lucha Dragons vs The New Day remained. I don't think I need to tell you who won. After some distractions, Woods rolled one of the Dragons up while pulling the tights to get the win.
Adam Rose vs Fandango
When Adam Rose's not-music hit, I didn't know what was going on since I haven't seen much of WWE recently, but it seems he's finally stopping the party. He came out with a mic and heeled it up. He mentioned how he needs to speak slowly since nobody knows English here, but even those who didn't know much English got the memo and booed.

"I don't like coming to Mexico!
"I don't like travelling to third-world countries!"

Most of the crowd were booing but I was laughing my ass off and loving every second of it, especially because he wasn't entirely wrong about those last two lines. The Fandango came out. I'm glad to see he's back to the old theme song.
Match was unintentionally short. At some point Rose took a bad knee to the face from Fandango. At first I thought he did a great sell on it, but it seems that's not what happened since Fandandgo pinned him and the match ended quickly. Then somebody went to check on him and did the cross sign asking for medical aid. They took a stretcher out, but Rose finally got up and insisted on walking back. All the nice heat he built up was lost as the crowd clapped him for that. I hope neither he or Fandango suffer for this.
After this Tony Chimel announced a tag team match set for one fall. Braun Strowman and Luke Harper came out. I went insane because I knew who their opponents were. Only an hour into the show and this was already happening. Even had the previous match not ended so early, it would have been too soon.
And then Kane's music hit and the crowd accompanied my insanity. Finally, Undertaker's music hit. The arena could not go completely dark but it sufficed. There was not much room for special effects, so only a bit of smoke came out, but it sufficed. The Brothers of Destruction were the big presence they ought to be. Have I mentioned I love the way Tony Chimel announces their names? I'm glad he was the announcer for this, he is so underrated.
Braun Strowman & Luke Harper vs The Brothers of Destruction: Kane & The Undertaker
Well, I won't get into the details of the match since it's hard for me to recall details, especially for something so thrilling for me. Kane & 'Taker made their opponents look great as the professionals they are, I could hear their yells from where I was sitting, which was above. I heard their voices in person! At some point Harper (or was it Strowman?) botched a snake eyes, but they recovered quickly. We got to see all moves in 'Taker's arsenal except for the Tombstone and Last Ride. 'Taker was absolutely nuts for this. I already had noticed he's gone a bit more... energetic since his match with D-Bryan and Kane vs the Shield in 2013. But he was even crazier here. Kane teased the tag as he was beat up for a while, and 'Taker punched the corner and stomped the steel steps constantly, making sure the crowd would clap their encouragement every minute. At some point he poured a bottle of water on himself and paced at ringside madder and faster than I've ever seen him before.
There was a spot where he chokeslammed Harper then went for Strowman, Kane went back in the ring to help him with it, and they did a double chokeslam. Then, chaos happened. Finally, 'Taker capitalized on Strowman's (or was it Harper?) distraction, and pulled him into Hell's Gate for the win. The B.O.D. did their usual pose in the middle of the ring sans Kane's pyro. Then they walked towards the curtain, stopped at the top of the ramp, looked back and raised their fists. I'm glad I lived to see this in person.
After a small break we went to the divas match.
PCB vs Sasha Banks, Naomi & Tamina
Paige got the biggest pop, and Charlotte got some "WOO!"s too. Not a bad match, and the crowd reacted well all things considered. Becky was in the classic position of getting beat up over and over without able to make the tag. Then she finally reached Paige, but she got down from the ring and exited to a chorus of boos. As I said, I haven't been following that much of the WWE lately, so this was news to me. Charlotte, however, recovered after spending a while laying down next to the ring (and from my position she seemed to be completely still that whole time) and made the tag to save the day. PCB still won.
King Barrett then came out. Of course, I did what I should have done and bowed down to him. He did his King Barrett promo, which got some wonderful heat as he instructed the crowd to get on one knee and repeat after him:
"All.Hail.King.B-"
"BREAK THE WALLS DOWN!"
And insanity broke out as that song hit. Like the B.O.D., it was a thrill to see him in person, especially after reading his three autobiography books. He did the full entrance with the jacket, which worked perfectly.
King Barrett vs Chris Jericho
A great match from both as expected. Y2J was able to hit all his signature moves, and so did Barrett. Jericho also had the best interaction with the crowd: he was the only one to point to the rows where I was sitting, and got a sign from a fan that said "Y2J". "Come on, baby!" It was a thrill to hear his voice in person and see his performance too.
As he had Barrett on the Walls of Jericho, Sheamus came out with his briefcase, but Jericho drop kicked him. The distraction was still not enough to phase Y2J, who put Barrett under control again and went for the Lionsault, but Sheamus had recovered and was able to hit Jericho with the briefcase as he reached for the ropes. Jericho still kicked out. A couple of minutes later, Jericho got a Codebreaker out of nowhere for the win.
Main Event
Street Fight: Bray Wyatt vs Roman Reigns
Great entrances from both. The crowd lit up their cellphones, me included, for Bray's entrance. Roman Reigns came through the crowd as usual. He got a good reaction. As the match began, a small but loud "You can't wrestle!" chant broke out near me. Reigns and Wyatt stopped for a moment and brefly turned in the direction of that chant.
The match was great. These two have great chemistry together IMO. Shortly into the match, Bray made to leave, which prompted Reigns to get the mic and say how he's always running his mouth and can't back it up. Nice reaction to this.
They used the steel steps. Bray and then placed it in the middle of the ramp to the ring, but Reigns got them both back into the ring. Bray pulled out a kendo stick and went to town on Reigns, and then the roles got reversed until the stick broke. They pulled out chairs and went to town with it too, until Bray strategically placed it in a corner. Finally, the tables got pulled out. Roman Reigns was victim to the first one, while Bray got a taste of the second.
Many near-falls in this match. Bray surprised Roman with his spider stalk while he was setting up the table. Still kicked out. Roman hit the superman punch. Bray Wyatt still kicked out. Wyatt hit Sister Abigail. Reigns still kicked out. Reigns put Wyatt through the table. He still kicked out! Finally, Roman threw Bray headfirst towards the corner where he set up the chair and then hit the spear for the win.[/HIDE]
Great event overall. Ran 3 hours in total. So we got a full RAW/PPV for us. Glad I finally got to live this experience and got to see Undertaker live, which I thought I never would.

Watching RAW continues to be a chore. Things I continue to see are the New Day and their antics along with winning their tag match against Cena and the Dudleyz. Nice to see HBK again and his promo with Seth Rollins was cool. Finally Rollins gets a win on RAW this time against Ryback. Ric Flair was out there go give Roman Reigns a little rub and I don't mind it. His promo with Bray Wyatt was not bad either.
Things I didn't like was everything else. Heyman/Lesnar/Undertaker was the same old thing. Just talk and stare down. I'm tuning out of the Divas matches because there isn't much to get invested in. We want Sasha but she's stuck doing tag matches. And I have no clue what's going on with this angle with Paige. Mark Henry jobbed to Kevin Owens and I don't care about the battle of the Europeans (with Ziggler) because there is nothing to care about them wrestling each other. And WTF moment goes to Erick Rowan already back with the Wyatt Family with no explanation. He's been injured for months. They don't mention that at all and just acted like he was there the whole time? What the? I didn't mind the main event match though as it was the Shield vs the Wyatts.
