A decent Wrestlemania I'd say. Had some surprises that I enjoyed.
The Ladder match was good, the spot fest I think everybody expected. Although the exchange of headbutts at the end there was a little cringe worthy. On a side note, Stardust. Mr. Sinister called he wants his cape back.
Rollins and Orton was good, loved the ending.
Sting vs TermiHunter, I'm surprised this went on this early in the show. Both entrances was cool. a bit surprised Sting lost though, that was a shocker. I did like the bit with DX and the NWO coming out. Although after Shawn hit the ring I halfway expecter Ric to show up and take a pot shot at Triple H.
AJ and Paige vs the Bellas got a lot of time and were allowed to work. Loved Paige's dive onto the Bellas
Cena vs Rusev, yeah i think anybody thinking Rusev was going to win here was deluding themselves. But the ending did look like they're planning on splitting Rusev and Lana.
The Rock, Ronda, trip and Steph segment. I'm guess this is why they decided to push the battle royal to the pre-show. Wonder if Dana White was pulling out the rest of his hair when he found out his champ was in a WWE ring.
Waytt vs Taker, looked like Taker was trying to channel the American Bad Ass with his ring gear. I thought it told a good story though.
Lesner vs Reigns. Match went pretty much as I expected with Lesner dominating early and Reigns trying to make the come back. However I didn't expect the cash in during the match though. Before to make it a triple threat yes or after on a already worn down opponent. But during, no that was a legit surprise.
On the upside it may cause the WWE to go into rebuild mode with Reigns a bit, give him a little more time to get established as the "guy" a bit more before putting the belt on him.

In terms of WCW history, you'd never thought you would see the day that the original nWo (not the Wolfpac, not Hollywood, the OG Outsider 3) would come out and actually help out Sting in a match.
Granted, you'd never thought you'd see the day where nWo and DX would clash either.
As much as I loved that moment from the Sting/HHH match, it did kind of hurt the end result a little bit.
Just because they basically turned the Sting vs. HHH match into a newly revived Monday Night Wars, where Vince McMahon would "predictably" rub it into everyone's faces that the WWE beat WCW in those Monday Night Wars..........which is why you see HHH beating Sting in the manner that you saw.
If they had limited the interference to just possibly Shawn Michaels, Stephanie or hell.....even Ric Flair, I think I would've accepted the end result of HHH beating Sting.
But nah, Vince had to turn such a possibly iconic match into another "let's remind everyone that WCW can kiss my ass" type of match. And using the icon Sting as one of his pawns, nonetheless.
I'm shocked Sting even agreed to this type of angle for his match, knowing that it would contribute to Vince taking another jab at the wrestling organization that Sting himself built

The ending was brilliant. Loved the direction the WWE went as it prevented Lesnar from being pinned and also gave babyface sympathy for Reigns as he took such a huge beating. The match was pretty good too. Left me wondering how Reigns was going to be win but glad that Seth Rollins cashed in his contract. Now he has 3 opponents to face.
The rest of the show was good. I enjoyed the IC Title Ladder Match although I do agree that the headbutting sequence was odd. Ambrose got killed in his spot. Randy Orton got his predictable win over Rollins which should lead to a Title match soon. Not digging Orton wearing elbow pads. It's as weird as seeing Cody Rhodes wearing knee-pads. The Divas tag match was fine and glad Paige and AJ went over. The Sting/HHH match was awesome for the DX vs NWO stuff. Seeing HBK "Super Kick" Sting was a mark out moment. But sad Sting lost. Rusev/Cena was an okay match and it was obvious Cena had to win. Weird to see him drop down to winning the US Title. The Rock/HHH/Steph/Rousey segment was cool but did drag a bit. Steph was heeling it up tonight and liked Rousey's shirt. Taker/Bray Wyatt match was slow and got boring at times. Sucks that Wyatt had to lose as he was the one who carried this feud. Sting losing to Triple H was the final nail in WCW's coffin. Especially when Sting needed the win more than Triple H, however Vince wants to remind everyone that WCW was always "inferior" to the WWE.

Pfft...I'm the only one who didn't predict the ending, but I don't think any of us should've been surprised. Vince's ego wouldn't let him have Sting win this one.
And the time they used up to have Stephanie and Hunter go on an ego trip, as well as to showcase Rousey and The Rock....Ugh...They should've nixed that and put the Tag Match in.
Otherwise, this has been a Good Wrestlemania. I've not been a fan of Orton lately, but seeing that finish where he launches Rollins from the Curbstomp and into the RKO reminded me why he's Main-event status
Cena vs. Rusev...I called it in the beginning of the Match that Cena would win. I didn't expect that the entire arena would be cheering for him at the end, but it was refreshing to hear because most of the time people would also boo him. Seeing Cena do the springboard from the 2nd rope to stunner Rusev was a nice surprise in that match.
The Divas tag match was pretty good, though kind of sucks that the crowd gave no reaction whatsoever, and makes me wonder if there's a bias.
Taker/Bray was kind of dry, though maybe it was dry because there was no streak at stake here, and that the only thing here is Bray trying to show that he's the new face of fear. That, and maybe it's because Taker only comes out for Wrestlemania lately.
Roman Reigns/Brock Lesnar -- Ever since the Rumble Reigns has taken a lot of heat for winning the Rumble match and going on to headline Wrestlemania. Having Lesnar toss him around some helped his stock as it put the crowd back on his side. But Seth coming out to cash in and ultimately win the title was a stroke of genius. While I would've liked to see Reigns win the belt I think it would only cause him to lose the crowd once more. At least Lesnar isn't holding the gold no more. I hated that they made him champ for a good while. They might as well have made Paul Heyman the champion, coz at least Heyman would've appeared every night.

It's called Vince booking the Diva badly for the longest time to the point most people see it as a bathroom break. That's starting to change now after everybody keeps raving about the woman title matches on NXT and the whole #givedivasachance and thing got going a month or so ago but change takes time.

Awesome Mania, prolly one of the better ones in a long time.
I marked out like a bitch during Triple H's entrance, DX vs. nWo, Rollins cash in.
Only things I didn't like was Big Slow winning the Battle Royal and Sting doing the favor to Hunter.

You got a point there, scikaiju. I'm still hopeful tho coz AJ Lee and Paige have been the better ones to have emerged in...forever. I think for as long as Vince is ultimately in control, Divas will always be eye candy. Still, if Levesque or Steph finally gain total control of the E, I hope that the Divas are given better booking.
