The Pro Wrestling Thread - No Gimmick Needed

I think going back on Thursday is a great idea because Friday night's has other shows that kids or adults will watch other then pre-recorded wrestling they can find on the internet.

Any explanation for the switch back to Thursday nights?

Since Smackdown is under SyFy, Haven has renewed its fifth season with Edge (Adam Copeland) returning as a recurring cast member. In other words, Haven would move its timeslot on Thursday alongside Smackdown (and yes, it was originally on Thursday until 2005).

Ah. Thanks for the tidbit, orphen.

I do wonder tho if Adam Copeland will get a spot as a regular cast member rather than just a recurring cast member.

Having SD on friday nights was always a bad idea. Friday night is party night, people go out clubbing and party and whatever. Thursday night was always a better spot since everyone is pretty much home and doing **** all on Thursday nights.

Now there is wrestling every night of the week....

Monday - Raw
Tuesday - Main Event
Wednesday - NXT & Impact
Thursday - SmackDown
Friday - Superstars
Saturday - Xplosion
Sunday - Monthly PPV

Moving Smackdown to Thursday night is pointless unless they actually advance storylines on it, and they can do that on Friday, so there's no point. Plus with football back, it would do horribly going head-to-head with that (we see how bad RAW's ratings drop in the fall).
