Sentai is still probably quite a bit more financially lucrative than Kamen Rider though due to the giant mechs :buttrock:

The Tomica Hero series seem to be doing really bad compared to Kamen Rider and Sentai

Not necessarily. Super Hero Time's Sunday morning timeslot is one that draws fairly high ratings almost regardless of what's on. Kids get up to watch it like people my age used to get up to watch the Saturday morning cartoon block.

I don't know when Tomica airs or what network it airs on, but for all we know a 2.4% rating is insanely good or completely acceptable for that block. For a late-night show like Garo, a 2.4% would be absurdly high.

Regarding KR having higher ratings than Super Sentai, it seems to me that the 2-3% ratings discrepancy between the shows is probably older people who don't bother getting up in time to watch the whole Super Hero Time block. They get up, watch Kamen Rider over breakfast, then get on with their day.

While the dinosaur card show thing and Pretty Cure aren't tokusatsu, I think it'd be interesting to compare their ratings to the live-action stuff. If Pretty Cure's are significantly higher, then you may just have a lot of people who only tune in for the last half of Super Hero Time.

Fresh Precure episode 46 - 3.3% (this is that week Sentai and rider took a hit, seems everything did)
Fresh Precure episode 45 - under 4.0%, not in the top 10 anime
Fresh Precure episode 44 - 7.2%

Some ratings I could find for them, from what I've seen, the Pretty Cure anime do lower than Kamen Rider, but better than or around the same level as Sentai most of the time.

Also, Rescue Fire's ratings are, on average, around 1% lower than Rescue Fire, the ratings aren't horrible, but they aren't the best. If you check ratings for other tokusatsu series, you'll see that they're not generally going to jump above 6%.

Brought Double up to date and added ratings for Ultra Galaxy NEO and Shinkenger.

With Boukenger, really. Anywho, ratings stuff for the new episodes:

Double 23 - 8.8%
Goseiger 2 - 6.1%
Rescue Fire 46 - 2.4%

I'm shocked at how low the ratings are for epic 1 and epic 2 of Goseiger. I would have thought a new sentai show means higher ratings at least in the beginning then lower in the middle and then back up to wards the end. I hope they go up cuz this show deserves it IMO.:disappoin
