Ep. 44 recieved a 4.0%...and holy fucking ****..Ep. 45 got whopping 2.7%. Ep. 22 got a 2.2%..but damn.

The best average that any Sentai has had since after Boukenger is Shinkenger, with 5.9%. And that's likely to be largely helped by its airing opposite Decade and W, which are the best-performing Rider series in a while with averages of 8.0%. The "Japanese" theme helped Shinkenger too, which is why I suspect we'll see another ninja Sentai in the next few years

Episode 45 was most likely so low because of the big Pokemon announcement on Nintendo Direct. I think a lot of people were expecting something to be shown there first. Now that X/Y have been announced, I imagine a lot of people will be tuning into that in the hopes that there will be new information revealed each week.

A new Pokemon generation really isn't good news for Kyoryuger.

Indeed, but I imagine a lot of people tuned into Pokemon Sunday in the hopes that they would show something anyway. It explains the ridiculously low ratings that week.

Actually the ratings for the first weekend of January tend to be low every year. Maybe not THIS low but lower than average nonetheless.

(Shinkenger 44 got a 2.5%, but then again, Asahi thought airing a new episode on January 3rd was a good idea.)

So if kids arn't watching Super Hero Time, what are they watching other than Pokemon? What else comes on during the block that interests kids more? Find that out and you may learn something of the current mentality of the Japanese youth.

You could do the same even for the adult fans and hardcore fans. What else could they be watching during this time to take them away from their toku fix?

The goal isn't to find out the current mentality of the Japanese youth, but to mold it, using cutesy anime schoolgirls and meaningless variety shows as a tool for involuntary brainwashing.The addictive programming gets into the heads of citizens, causing them to find everything else boring and uninteresting.This leads to people having an unenthusiastic attitude towards work and productivity, making them to give up their jobs, become NEETs, and sit all day on the computer watching whatever the media feeds them.Disguised with seemingly normal networking featuring some "educational" programs for children or mothers, their true identities as conspirators are obscured.A plan for a New World Order, you see, where the lowest of the low are uneducated and ignorant consumers where the elite rule over all in a subtle manner that is sure to not stir up suspicions among the general populace.In the end, even if someone uncovers the truth, another will dismiss it as slander and immediately attack them, successfully creating a self policing society.
