That's because they AREN'T MINDLESS MACHINES. They are lifeforms, just like you and me, and the movies should highlight their human-like qualities. The story should show them having emotions, frailties, personalities, histories and life stories, friendships and relatives, the ability to act and think on their own, etc. That's where these movies fail, not in giving the Transformers enough screen time, but by not making them appear more human and more relatable, by not making their individual identities shine. The movies are too busy focusing on how the Autobot VS Decepticon war is affecting our planet. Not a bad angle to come from, but we should still be relating to the robots first and the humans second.
I understand your perspective, but all i'm saying is I enjoy the humans in these movies, it doesn't bother me that the Transformers aren't emotional. I'm past complaining on the internet about these kind of things, the franchise is what it is at this point, either you like it or you don't (I do enjoy them).
The Bayformers is its own series, Bay has his formula, so am I going to make a list of things I want to change in TF4? No. I like what i've gotten in the past
Well I guess if you don't care about the TF's in a TF movie...:sly:
To be honest with you, in this incarnation of Transformers, I don't. This isn't G1 or Beast Wars, i'm happy following the story of Sam Witwicky and seeing Autobots fight Decepticons
The thing is that in these movies it's the US army doing most of the fighting.
Someone's a bit jelly..
