Buy the DVD Boxset and let the discussion begin!.

THE DVD set is gorgeous. The pics rock and the booklet is totally amazing. I love reading about the actors who've made appearances in other Toku shows.

Now all of you poor fucks go out, sleep around with big breasts whores, make some cash, and buy this set and Iron King too.

Gotta love the Book promo at the end of the booklet. Nice job again August. But that doesnt surprise me.

Now what is next on the release list?.

I agree this set is awesome. It was one of the only shows I didn't have. I have been waiting awhile for this set. I guess BCI is a bit slow getting this stuff out. They have done a great job releasing these shows here. Although the sound on the original Ultraman set is fucked at times. That's because they didn't get the show's rights from Tsuburaya. I believe they are doing Silver Kamen as their next set. Seriously people I know $40.00 bucks may be expensive to some, but if you are a toku fan do the right thing and pick this show up legally.

Still waiting for my boxset to arrive , but peeping via Netflix. Nicely done , although there's like 2 subtitling errors in the first 5 minutes of ep01 I noticed ugh . Hope thats not common throughout.

Got a chance to hit the first 2 episodes and I fucken loved 'em. Episode 2 was brilliant. If you like Giant Robos or moreso our classic style Sentai mecha then this is for you.

The storyline seems very dark with our Main Hero's family. I have a feeling it will get alot more dramatic by episode 39.

It's just so much fun to watch this because it's so old school Toku yet the storyline is dramatic and the battle scenes also totally rock for it's time.

The OP theme kicked my ass 2 months from tuesday.

I cannot wait to see more of this sucker. Totally worth the money.

The fight between Ken/Red Baron and his Brother/Hiryu was pretty awesome. I think it had more potential, like Ken thinking his bro was still alive until the end of the series or something.

Seriously, if you love Mecha and Megazords then this is the originator for fun mecha action. I like this much better then DaiTestujin17.

I received my copy today, and was planning on watching it after I finish KR Agito, but I couldn't wait. I popped in the disk and watched the first ep.

What can I say? I knew nothing about the show, but I love all things giant, and hearing some of the good comments about the show I decided to pick it up. The show itself seems like a lot of fun. Some nice characters, and some nice robot designs. I also like the fact that the story continues from one episode.

However, I have some problems with the subtitles. It's not a good sign when the second set of subs to appear have a misspelled word in it. Misspellings kept cropping up throughout the entire ep. Also, the timing was off on several occasions. The sub would flash off or change to the next set before I was finished reading it. Now, I'm not a super fast reader, and I'm certainly not the slowest around, but the timing needs to be better.

Also, where was the option to turn off the subtitles? I don't speak japanese, but many other fans do and would probably enjoy the show more if there were no subtitles popping up.

This can't be the best work BCI can offer. If they want me to continue to buy their toku releases, then these problems need to be addressed.

At least, that's my opinion.

The subtitle issue you have seems weird. My set is perfectly fine. Maybe you should return ur set for another. I also didn't notice and mispellings of any kind throughout the eps I've watched.

Ep 2-4 = :buttrock: Watch them ASAP (with subs).

For some reason I get the vibe of Gorou Hoshino/OhRed calling Red Puncher (Red Battlezord) with his "Reddo Puncha, GO!" whenever Ken calls on Red Baron.
