Spring Kamen Rider Movie - Kurata Returns!

KRT was terrible. Plot was one of the lamest movie plots ever. Even All Riders vs DaiShocker handled story better. KRT was a plain disappointment and a mistreatment of every character in the movie. If it just focused on the Faiz-X subplot, it would have been WAY better. None of Rider would behave the way they did in the movie in this kind of situation.
SHT didn't have any plot at all.
Z on the other hand, was handled pretty good. It had its focus and the characters with different motivations. It wasn't that good, mostly due to the ending, (which again was a mess), but it's probably the closet thing to the Avengers or comic book crossover.

I wish that one day Toei would just do a crossover movie with a few characters and a good story.

Don't think too much about the canon stuff, like last years Gaim and Toqger special it doesn't fit right between the series. The reason it's there is so that it's aired when the movie is screened, that's all. Treat it as an alternate universe, slot it in a time when you think it's appropriate, create your own imaginative stories to fill in these plotholes, whatever. They're not going to give you specifics as to where it slots into the timeline.

That being said, the 1 hour special is supposed to be leading into SHT GP, and then #4 follows.

Ill except that, but then where does Drive episode 23 fit into all of this?

I thought #4 was the lead-in to SHT GP.

Pretty sure the Kamen Rider 4 mini series takes place after SHT GP, because Shocker is near their demise and obviously they would create Rider 3 before 4.

I don't think we know that, do we? None of the previous information about the one hour special mentioned the SHTGP tie ins, it has all been in the new trailers. It could also take place after SHTGP, like Kamen Rider 4 itself.

No, Kamen Rider 4 starts after GP. The first episode even recaps the movie in the beginning.

In episode 23, Gou has his Mach Driver destroyed looks like he is about to die. But of course next week's Spring team up special with Ninninger, hes clearly there using the suit. So is the team up special after episode 23 or before it? Also the team up special seems to tie in with SHT GP. Which brings me to my next point, Gou dies at the end of the movie but then in Rider 4 episode 1, hes back for some reason but then dies like 3 times. Tomari wants to change fate and dies in his place after the 4th time the episode looped. So how on earth is this gonna fit into the tv series or even the movie? They both come back in episode 2 also.

We know that Gou is getting his Driver fixed somehow, so it could just take place after whenever that happens. Alternatively, depending on how the special starts, it could take place right after 23, but with reality changed so you end up in a timeline where the belt was never broken. It could also take place before 23. Anyway, we know that the special is involving the history changing machine too.

Riku Sanjo himself is writing the crossover special, unlike Gaim vs Toqger last year, which wasn't written by Urobuchi, so it should fit more smoothly.

Super Hero War GP: Kamen Rider #3 opened in 6th this past weekend with only $1.56 million. To put that in perspective:

-Movie War Full Throttle opened in 4th with $1.72 million
-Gaim/ToQger's double feature opened in 4th with $1.67 million
-Kamen Rider War opened in 3rd with $2.5 million

If Super Hero War GP follows the typical Rider movie pattern, the movie will probably end its run right at or just short of $8 million.

If you use yens, SHT GP beats Gaim/Toqger's summer movie's first weekend by a bit (169,835,850 vs 186,768,250), but still loses to the other ones.

So, AFTER FOUR F****** MOVIES, are we finally convinced that the Taisen series is beyond salvaging? I mean, I knew the entire series would suck from the first trailer of Super Hero Taisen... But I didn't expect myself to be right.

Seriously, these are replacements for the den-o movies.... AND IT SHOWS.
