Why are they doing this though? It seems like a lot of effort for a one shot. Well at least the actors get decent screen time. They have a movie AND a mini series.

Hopefully they can have all the returning actors transform together for the final battle this time around. Thats something I always look forward to in team up movies.

I think it's just going to be a suit with either no voice or a random VA with no indication of who he is.
I'm like 80% sure they just needed an evil Rider suit to match the theme.
Baron doesn't really match the theme visually (Cause of those bananas), but I guess they chose him since he's still relevant.
It would have been better if it was his Overlord form, but I guess since it's not a Rider form or anything, it doesn't count.

It's not only evil Riders though, they have 3 monsters in that line up. Also, regarding Sasword and Baron, remember this takes place in the Rider 3 timeline, where Shocker controls the world and some Riders were brainwashed and forced to join Shocker.

Seeing ZeroHorn again reminds me of what a poor choice of color it has. Just placing horns on a white and blue DenBird? At least change the bike's color to black and gold, or dark green and gold to match Zeronos. Or even make the blue parts black. It's one of the laziest bike designs ever.

Meh, Yongo's plane looks cool, the shocker monsters still look ridiculously dated, but I'm just glad we're getting Sango and Yongo at all. Also always good to see Faiz again.

To be fair it takes place in a separate universe/altered timeline so they could honestly do whatever they want. Despite Gaim being the last series to air, him and his characters have absolutely zero relevance in this movie it seems.

I don't know, maybe they figured Japan would miraculously still be in the World Cup by the time Gaim's movie came out?

Or they figured that Riders and soccer was a combination people enjoyed. Nadashiko was named after Japan's star player in the Women's World Cup and she seemed to go down well with the Japanese audience.

A bit like in 'Let's Go Kamen Rider' where a bunch of secondary Riders turn up to help the main ones...including Ouja? I suspect it has more to do with which suits are in the best condition.

The Kamen Rider 4 mini-series is tied to the Kamen Rider 3 movie. Shocker somehow changed the past, leading to Rider 3's appearance and confronting Riders 1 and 2, where they were seemingly killed. As a result, by 2014 they had conquered the world. There are still some rebel Riders fighting against them, but many either joined them out of their own will or were brainwashed into doing so. Even Drive initially works for them before meeting Black.

Anyway, due to this being an alternate timeline, it's likely that Kaito plain simply never died. Also, I don't think Gaim and Baron are overlords here, considering how Gaim is just Orange Arms and Baron Banana Arms, rather than Overlord Baron.

Eh Kaito's previous resurrection was by a being explicitly almost as powerful as God!Kouta. Riderman somehow survived being at ground zero of a nuke and washing up on Tahiti

New pictures have shown up for the movie; like the boosters for Tridoron, as well as the movie appearance for Drive's Type Formula. Also, there are ones which confirm that Mashin Chaser is in as well, although wether or not he is there as the Grim Reaper for Drive or an ally yet.
