I actually haven't Shinkenger in the past few weeks, I'm bummed about the lack of HD releases. I'll get around to it, but man. That was a pretty show in HD.

is the clip show episode done already? i believe that episode 42 was clip show episode and if so, the writers did a good job of actually integrating it to the plot.

From what I've seen in the RAW, [HIDE]Juzo decides to stab Akumaro instead of unleashing Hell. I don't know the reason, but suddenly, Juzo starts sporting some freakish red eyes.

i believe that episode 42 was clip show episode and if so, the writers did a good job of actually integrating it to the plot.

I actually broke down and watched 42 last night. It's doesn't feature more than maybe a minute or two of clip footage but does recap the plot for people who might be tuning in late. Then it goes on to feature some pretty big plot developments and lots of references to the Buddhist hells.

Man, I just love the Buddhist hells! It looks like all the Shinkenger eps that mattered to the overall plot were based on a Buddhist hell, too. I had suspected that awhile back since they had a monster that was clearly based off of good ol' Children's Hell.

After watching ep 42 subbed I must say i like Akumaro alot more than I ever really did. Good to know he had a plan the entire time which included Juzou.
