HEY!! Neon!! TAKE IT EASY!!! I'm just saying that in every Super Sentai shows at the team of 5 and 3 there's always one and two female rangers. Luckily Dekaranger has 5 female rangers. I've watched all classic and new Super Sentai shows. Luckily Maskman was the first series to feature a sixth ranger X 1 Mask.
Oh I can't count "Sun Valcan" because there are no special rangers.
I ONLY brought Power Rangers as an EXAMPLE because Super Sentai is the ORIGINAL and Power Rangers is the NEW thing of adding special things.

As much as you guys are being OT...
1st point: DekaSwan did not henshin when she was kidnapped because she has a policy to only use the deka armor only once every 4 years, so she will only use it when all hope is lost (Since Doggy is still breathing, then hope is still there)... Try re-watching the series so that you may clearly hear her say it. Don't ask me why, she's a freakin fictitious character for crying out loud.
2nd point: I agree with Neon's post (obviously except the DekaSwan part), especially the part that Toei needs to focus more on the storyline rather than adding more characters or mechs to over-saturate the series just to milk it for more merchandises, though in the case of Dekarangers, it was executed properly with multiple extra rangers who didn't need much character build-up but still had integrity and credibility, because you knew who they were and what their purpose is. Same goes to Magirangers.
3rd point: Don't be a spelling nazi... Especially if you had to check the dictionary to know the correct spelling of the word.
