Look, this is a standard story type. This isn't even the first time I've seen it recently. The sudden nature of the plot twist is probably bothersome if you like Takeru, but it was foreshadowed well enough that multiple people guessed it.

We can't pass judgement on the story's quality because we haven't seen it yet. Saying it has to be dumb because it screws over Takeru is roughly as stupid as saying it must be awesome because it's giving us a lady Red.

No, it giving us a lady Red is a historic first, whether the story blows or is awesome. (I thought Kakuranger blew but Ninja White was still a historic first.) Nobody can form a useful opinion of the storyline that's coming up until the actual episodes have aired, whether you find the twist interesting or not.

I don't remember anyone saying Genta would be kicked out. It's already been pointed out that he has no hereditary duty as a Shiba vassal, so he could either side with Takeru (because his promise as a child was to fight beside Takeru - regardless of whether Takeru is the real ShinkenRed) or Kaoru could get rid of him. We just don't know yet.

There were a lot of hints that Takeru was never the lord, but they were so minor that no one noticed them. Like how he accepted his death after he was poisoned, his argument with Ryunosuke wanting to protect him, as well as Hiro's Grandfather calling him foolish. If Takeru was the real lord, he wouldn't be running around with a death wish, which is also why he never wanted the others in the first place. It was to protect them.

We haven't even seen how the story will go yet. We've only seen pictures, a vague promo for Act 44 and an even more vague episode description. And possibly, in all honest there may've been hidden hints as to there being a woman as the Lord that we were too blind to see, even if some of us did go back and analyze the Acts. I say why not wait to see it for ourselves and judge then because nine times out of ten, we're wrong about it anyway so why bother fussing about it. It's just a waste of time because you're just slinging pointless insults at each other so let it go.

Toei didn't hire hobos to write their stories, they hired professional writers, so I doubt they'd be stupid enough to add a twist in the story without setting up foundations which will make you think; "Oh, no wonder he acted that way before" and stuff. Purely elementary, and this is a kids' show which is supposed to be easy to understand for adults like us. Tsk, tsk.

Basing on what the others have said, they pretty much disagree with your whining about something we clearly haven't seen yet for us to judge. I didn't need any help, they just happen to share my opinion.

Heh what ever. I was unaware anyone here had to defend what they have to say. To my recollection, keith himself said that that was not really something to bug people about on these forums. I was just saying what I thought abou these turn of events. You like those other guys crack me up.

So it's ok to say how KICK ASS GREAT this turn of events is, but if some one thinks it's stupid then it's ok to insult them, say their opinion sucks, and make fun of them? Good to know. I will remember that for the future.
