Hey, I'm by no means a fan of Shinkenger, but I think the whole kagemusha thing is a cool idea. The problem is that Shinkenger has nerve trying to actually do something interesting or have something resembling an actual story after pissing around, doing jack-all for a majority of the series.

Some people just doesn't have the mental capability to notice hidden messages in the story, that's why some people find it hard to understand why things ended up the way they are. Toei didn't hire hobos to write their stories, they hired professional writers, so I doubt they'd be stupid enough to add a twist in the story without setting up foundations which will make you think; "Oh, no wonder he acted that way before" and stuff. Purely elementary, and this is a kids' show which is supposed to be easy to understand for adults like us. Tsk, tsk.
