Rumor: Pinoy Liveman Adaptation?!

Preaching to choir. I know  Back at home whenever I find myself watching these Filipino teleseryes with my parents I ask them what's going on in the show. After getting the gist of it and watching a bit of the show I get aggravated because almost all of the situations in these shows could be easily resolved but of course it's a soap opera so **** has to get complicated EVEN more than it should. :P

But I do find most of the comedy though really funny. :)

Gosh, that is so annoying. There also was a K-Drama I saw that was just like that.

People are yelling at each other, throwing things, threatening to take members off the family register and they're all laughing and having a nice time together making jokes about the things that caused the problems in the first place. :redface2:

I saw some novelas back when I was learning Spanish and I really thought that stuff was terrible.

And the story is nearly identical to each other...
They even remake some of it, like Marimar and Rosalinda

And Ugly Betty.

Oh, this. There was the Mexican remake, the other Columbian remake (:eyebrow:), and there's the American version which I don't think is even related to the original at all at this point.

The ones that are more original soon get remakes. I don't understand why.

But now, we are conquered by Koreanovelas or KDramas...

Hey now, it's not like that.

I'm not really against KDramas. I have seen some pretty good ones like Baker King which is currently airing, Jumong and Queen Seon Deuk. It's just, they are too many...

They've got like three channels producing quite a few each every year. People live off K-Drama and News.

Jumong lasted for something like a year, but it was twice a week. Queen Seon Deok was shorter than that, but it dragged so bad at the end.

The one I imagine being the closest to a novela is Temptation of Wife. It's got the length and the ridiculous parts in it.

Yeah. My mom was watching it. Lasted for 130+ episodes IIRC.
