Question concerning the movie only Kamen Riders

More often than not, just another action figure. But in some cases there is a benefit. I think Psyga was good in Paradise Lost as basically a straight-up hitman type for Smart Brain. He kinda made for a more entertaining bad guy presence than all the Lucky Clover goons put together. Not to slight the actor in the series (who's name I can't recall right now) who played the Centipede Orphenock that had previously played Hojo, a character in Agito. He was doing the best he could with what they were giving him.

Anywho, copying someone else -
G4: Not too bad, I'm usually pretty indifferent to him.
Ryuuga and Femme: Really great characters that I think would have made great additions to the TV series but they were great for the little time we had with them. Especially Femme.
Psyga: Easily my favorite suit from the whole 555 series. Leo was a pretty interesting character, would have loved to learn more about him and I really wish he was in the series more than any other movie rider to date.
Glaive, Lance and Larc: Horrible. All three of them were really miscast and in the end felt like useless characters with nothing going for them.
Oni Sentai Ongekenger: Favorite movie riders to date, some of my favorite Kamen Riders, period. These guys definitely deserved their own shown.
Hercus, Ketaros and Caucasus: Yamato/Ketaros and Oda/Hercus were pretty cool guys, they would have made the series SO much better if they were actually in it, I hated Yamato's death though. Kurosaki/Caucasus just sucked and was just stupidly deus ex machina.
Ga-O: We didn't really get to see much with this guy. People say he's awesome, but we learned almost nothing about him, he definitely deserved more screen time but like with G4, I'm pretty indifferent towards him.

They're usually hit and miss, the problem being lack of development. Take G4, whose character was interesting, but suffers from a lack of screen time despite being the movie's namesake...!
I will say about Glaive, L'arc, and Lance... While the half-baked attempt at the "whodunit" falls on its ass, I liked the idea of these new, obnoxious, hot-shot Riders who thought they were better than their seniors. They couldn't have been more wrong, huh?
And I thought Hibiki & the Oni Bunch were pretty cool. Can I say again how much I think Hibiki would have kicked ass if it were a period piece like the movie?

Well the Hibiki movie was the first Kamen Rider I had ever watched. The riders all had their own story and that made me love them (And the genre itself!)
The Kabuto ones were just more riders in rider wacky land. They weren't any more special than the other riders in the series.
Ga-O was ultra cool and his background story within the series made him a much more likeable villian!

It would be awesome if we could get some more tokusatsu like this. I've always really enjoyed those shows and having the Hibiki movie setting placed out over an entire series would have been fantastic.

I agree about the Blade movie Riders. They could have easily built more of the movie around that conflict (minus the lame murder mystery attempt) and gotten a better story.
While I'm not big on anything Hibiki, I always thought a great idea for a Kuuga movie would have been a prequel taking place during the ancient time of the first Grongi attacks showing the original user of the Arkul belt and the events that lead up to his being entombed with them.

I love Femme. She's a female, she's a hottie, and she spiced up the Ryuki movie. She should have been romantically paired with KR Knight and that would make a bad-ass couple.
