Power Rangers Jungle Fury -- "Pushed to the Edge" [Talk Up!]

I dont know. I wouldnt feel so bad. Camille saved the rangers. Showed she was nice. Lily could have taken comfort in that her kindess saved them. Yes it also lead to Jellica but it did save them. If Lily wasnt kind to Camille, they would have been destroyed. Even Camille admitted that even if Lily knew the truth, she would have still been nice. So it's not a question about "oh Lily didnt know". Right? There was nothing to feel sorry about at the end for Lily.

You know the paralell's are sinister here. Lily feels sorry for herself but at least she has friends to cheer her up. Meanwhile, no one is there to cheer up Camille at the end of the episode. No one to comfort her. She's all alone in a dojo full of masters who hold nothing but contempt and anger toward her.

I wonder if this is intentional writing or not.

I can't believe I got my wish. I had hoped that Jellica would speak in a condescending tone similar to Rageku, and she did! *so happy*

Interesting slip by Camille saying "Jarrod is my master".

This was so much fun, I think I'm going to rewatch it right now. Excuse me.

-I like how saying, "That's enough. You're out of line" was Dai Shi's way of "handling" insubordination.
-"You eat like a supermodel"? Wow, I'm surprised they got away with that.
-Camille in disguise is something they should've done since the beginning.
-Wow, I was almost certain that Flit would show up to ruin the zord battle since he's in this episode.
-Damn, that was a pretty shitty force field if that's all it took to destroy it.
-Why was Carnisoar so quick to back down when Jellica showed up?
-Also, I find it interesting that Camille says JARROD is her master, not Dai Shi.
-It makes more sense for Camille to refrain from destroying Lily than it did for Dai Shi in "A Taste of Poison" (though that's starting to make sense now too), but still, these have to be the most pussified group of villains I have ever seen. Or at least since Grumm.
-How is Carnisoar's work done? He barely taught Jarrod anything.
-Why would they show the disguise now? They could've done so much with that!
-I LOVE how Theo uses Lily's vulnerability to try to spit game.

This was a decent episode, especially after last week's. The whole Carnisoar/Jellica thing seemed a little off, though. Even though he barely did anything, and he's still a worthless character at this point, Flit was actually pretty well utilized here. Also, with the rather weird messages that this season has been sending, this week's was incredibly cynic, though true. Not everyone is good deep down.

Also, I'm noticing that this season is becoming very villain centric. I like that idea, especially since, if last week's episode was any indication, they clearly don't know how to write the rangers properly. Plus I'd like to see a villain-centric season. It's just a shame that it's THIS season, since the villain plot isn't making a lot of sense. I think Overdrive would've been better for that.

Anyway, pretty decent ep, better than the past couple. 3/5.

I think the real difference between "All About Beevil" and this ep (aside from the stuff you talked about) was the message wasn't as black-and-white as "Pushed to the Edge." Their messages were pretty much the same, but AAB made it clear that, while you can't trust everybody, you can't be a cynic and trust no one. People do have some good in them PttE was pretty much you can't trust everyone. Period. I find that interesting since Jungle Fury has been sending these really fucked up, cut-and-dry, no gray area messages to kids, like there can only be one leader or you can only be good or bad.

You know, I havent noticed that about JF. :hmm:
But it is for toddlers, I doubt they want to send too many mixed morality messages to kids and confuse them. Good actions are good. Bad actions are bad. Obey your peers. Listen to your teachers. Even if you dont understand the lesson they know whats best for you. Etc.

Wow. That's a lot better than last week's episode. I personally liked it and there's only ONE problem: Red Ranger's pathetic cycle.

Also, I find it quite interesting that Jellica looks a lil bit different than Japanese version. You see her chest? They changed, not showing her boobs. Well done. Somehow, Jellica looks good tho. I loved the Japanese version.

Gosh, Camillie's human form was so hot. Camillie is one of my favorite villain since Trakeena. That made me miss Leelee from Mystic Force. The only one character I liked in Mystic Force.

I gotta say it was a great episode. I'll give this a 4 out of 5. - 1 because of stupid cycle crap.

Every time Casey brings out that bike I can't keep myself from groaning and rolling my eyes. I wish Camille did destroy it back in A Taste Of Poison.

I was afraid that it meant there was gonna be the typical explosions with the Rinshi's flying in the air. I was very surprised there weren't any.

I giggled so hard when Casey pulled out the Strike Rider and said "Let's Ride".

I'm well aware it's a total coincidence, but still.
