Jason Kidd is reportedly buying half of Jay-Z's 1.6% stake in the Nets for 500,000. Jay is forced to sell his portion of the team to begin representing athletes for his sports agency. Jason Kidd is now the coach and part owner of the team.

Lamar Odom reportedly checking into rehab after addiction to Oxycontin, Ambien, Alcohol and Cocaine the last 2 years while playing for the Mavs and Clippers.

I figured Lamar Odom's life was going downhill after he got traded away from the Lakers. Being in that lame Kardashian show didn't help matters either. Good job Lamar.

Jason Kidd's no. 5 jersey will be retired and Rodman's going to NK again with ex-NBA players. For some reason, Miami Heat brought back Michael Beasley, whose contract with the Suns has recently been terminated.

Shaquille O'Neal is now a member of the Sacramento Kings......as a minority owner. He used to call the Kings the "Queens" during the heated rivalry last decade. I'm not sure about this. Him being a mentor to Demarcus Cousins, well, hopefully that will work out. Demarcus is going to be the franchise player when he signs his extension.

He better not. He's had enough nicknames already. I'm not even happy to hear about him being a minority owner. Just because he's friends with Ranadive, the new owner of the Kings.
