New CW Lineup for 2013-2014 Season

The Tomorrow People looks like Jumper the TV series (guess that makes Mark Pellegrino Roland Cox?), so I'll give it a shot. The rest I'll pass on.

The Tomorrow People were Jumper the TV series BEFORE there even was a Jumper!

This is what...the third or fourth Tomorrow People series? I rather enjoyed the one from the 90s back in the days, even if they kept changing cast every serial.

Ah, okay. The effect of teleporting is identical to what was seen in Jumper, complete with the "jump scars", but regardless yeah looks like Gould might have "borrowed" concepts from that show since it came first.

The only thing that really bothers me is how Nikita's getting thrown to the curb. That had to have been the best action series I've EVER seen on TV & the only time I've ever seen a Television Thriller legitimately pulled off.

Still, though, it's getting roughly the same treatment as La Femme Nikita- coming back for a six episode series finale this fall. That, and, I suppose if it lasted much longer, it'd completely loose that which made it so damn good- the complex & constantly moving & changing plot. Season three started & I already got the feeling that they were beginning to run out of ideas & go stale.

I wish their next project the best!

I was holding my breath for so long for Arrow, and when they got the green light for season two, I was filled with amazement and glee.

Is Nikita really awesome though? I might check it out.

Nikita is pretty damn awesome, it's a smart, serialized TV show with some good acting. I recommend checking it out

My problem with Nikita was I still remember enjoying the Peta Wilson version, and this one seemed quite different from what I've read. Plus, most of Maggie Q's roles in HK films don't exactly make me think of Nikita.

I may just give it a try though.

You probably wouldn't care much for it, then. Nikita borrowed Michael & Birkhoff & adapted Percy from "Operations," but the new series is largely based off of the movie, not the show. That being said, the film was darker than the first TV series. The new TV series is darker than the movie. Though, they did adapt several things like Mr. Jones, Adrian & The Collective into completely new & seperate entities in this series. They even used the "La Femme Nikita" version of the character as the basis for an entirely new character in the show.

That, & the original Nikita was an Action Drama. New Nikita is a Psychological Thriller, Action, Character Drama.

That's exactly what I thought of immediately, I always wanted another jumper or just to see the concept used again.

Had no clue there was already old series of this.

I'll take your word for it, I'll definitely check it out soon.
