For the third time? Man does NBA players bounce around more than any other sport. It gets ridiculous to keep up with at times.

Greg Oden's now officially Heat member and Michael Beasley got arrested for marijuana possession.

I used to have a bit a of faith in Beasley..what a joke. Imagine if Oden stays healthy and plays as if he has a chip on his shoulder. If that's not a sign that the Heat will get back to back rings in hmmm, THE NEXT 20 YEARS, I don't know what is. :laugh:

Greg Oden's now officially Heat member and Michael Beasley got arrested for marijuana possession.

Here's hoping Oden is able to last longer throughout a season, and I think he should be able to. Playing off the bench, whether 2nd or 3rd option, might mean he won't have to strain his body as much.

I'm not so sure about that. Even though he'll probably play less, he just has bad knees. You can have surgeries to fix it, and bad knees are bad knees.

I did say he should be able to. I am expecting the reality to be completely different. But a reduced role and reduced playing time, I believe, should be beneficial to him, as he will get more rest time (than, say, Chris Bosh), and so he can preserve those knees. Outside of games, he can work with team therapists to get the most out of those glass knees.
