Avengers Arena #16- A good issue, it really feels like we're coming close to the end of the series. The time line for the book has finally synced up with the first issue. Two characters did a turn that honestly felt out of nowhere. Especially when one of them was a person who started their hero career with helping teenagers to becoming a traitor for no reason besides deciding that they're "Playing for Keeps" now and that's me making an inference.
Ultimate Comics X-Men 32- It is still my favorite X-Men title. World War X has probably been the most ambitious story the Ultimate X-Men has faced. This issue was packed with strong character moments and action. Brian Wood is leaving his mark on this series and I'm looking forward to seeing how this wraps up.

Man this weeks Deadpool hit me right in the feels. Yeah that's right Deadpool managed to hit someone in the feels!

Let's have a little NYCC news roundup:
In Avengers' land we are getting another ongoing called Avengers World which seems to be a "global team book dealing with the fallout of Infinity"... My guess Hickman made the team to large and needed another book for all of them.
Next we have Avengers Undercover, which is a follow up to Avengers Arena. It has a somewhat spoil-ish cover so be warned when reading the news. Also it seems Zemo is playing a key role. Which raises the question will Marvel realize that he isn't a complete villain anymore?
And finally we have two new solo titles both no doubt due to movie's success. Black Widow gets her own title which now means every movie Avenger has an ongoing. Next there is possible "replacement" for JiM, Loki: Agent of Asgard. I have to admit this new found love Loki is quite interesting, it is like he is the new Deadpool. Also though it may break people's heart it stars adult Loki, not kid Loki.
One quick note, Secret Avengers is getting a relaunch with Ales Kot as sole write with Spider-Woman joining the team.
Thunderbolts: Ghost Rider is joining the title. No word if he is going to get a new red costume.
And now for some mutant news. First up a crossover between the X-Force books is coming called Vendetta. And Stryfe is making his return as the central villain.
The rumored X-Factor relaunch is confirmed with the title now being All-New X-Factor. The confirmed roster is Polaris as the leader with her brother Quicksilver making a return to series and Gambit rounding out the team. Peter David returns as writer and had promised the team with have more members by the end of the first arc. The premise is the a Google analogue has bought the X-Factor name and wants to create a corporate team. Though not unfamiliar ground for a mutant title one gets the impression it will be vastly different from X-Force/X-Statix.
Spoilers below:[HIDE]It seems the All-New X-Men survive BotA and will travel into space having a crossover with GotG centering around the rescue of Jean Grey. It will be six issues equal numbers between the two series. Also they get new uniforms which seem to match Wolverine's in All-New Marvel Now! promo image, new team on the horizon perhaps. And finally X-23's new lover has been revealed and it is quite genius. All I will say on the matter I think this is the closest we will get to Marvel acting on all those decades of sexual tension.[/HIDE]

You forgot the most important thing. They're finally going to explain what happened to Deadpools white text bubbles in Deadpool Annual.
