Prologue
In spite of it's close proximity to Vegas, The area in which the motel was located had a very small town feel. A more paranoid individual might claim to feel the eyes of the locals on them. As if they knew he or she was not from there. Said locals all seemed to know each other. And would begin talking the second they made eye contact with one another. In spite of that they were pleasant to any out of towners "brave" enough to speak to them. Most of them at least.
Directly across from the motel was a rather large strip mall. The centerpiece of the psuedo shopping complex was a combination gas station, mcdonalds, starbucks which was a hub for tourists passing through on their way to and from vegas. On either side, You would find a series of mom and pop establishments frequented by the locals. Notable was a moderately sized convenience store featuring every generic brand item known to man, A 50's (though not intentionally by design) style dinner called "Bills" And a Small pub wedged between a drug store and a laundry mat called "
