Got around to watching episode 2. I... like OOO, even though it's quite schizophrenic.

It's the concept. It's hard to give vending machines and animal coins a chance. That's what I think.

Well OOO is playing with a triple theme... maybe they go with arcs of three episodes?

I really don't know how I feel just yet... I feel like I haven't gotten the whole show yet, as though there are pieces of the main dynamic still missing!

i think once we get a feeling of the Ankh/Hina relationship will play out and when Eiji gets to say a catchphrase (I'm gunning for 'It has everything to do with me... I know (them) since (this morning)!" because I think its neat)... I'll have a better grasp of the show.

Back in Double the Money Dopant almost made me drop the show... but by the time the Anomalocaris arc started I really got into the show, even if I didn't particularly like the Dopants at that point.

I figure 5 episodes will be enough to get a good feel for what the show will be like.

I do remember Momotaros made a strong impression on me and got me hooked on Den-o after two episodes only.

Back when I saw the Money Dopant I was thinking it was weird, but I knew Double would be able to do it. The part with Shotaro using the DoubleDriver to connect his consciousness had me convinced that no matter how bad it could look, it would still be great.

The basic concepts seem inverted to me. Hana started out as a woman who was really strong and realized that it made her seem unfeminine and frightening. She was conflicted over it. Hina is freakishly strong but otherwise acts like a completely normal girl otherwise. She seems utterly innocent thus far.

I'd like to put down a prediction here. Based upon the Pure Form sounds video, Ankh is the Greeed of Dinosaurs.
