I always kinda hoped that Maki was going to be wacky Kougami's straight man but then Maki started doing too many goofy things himself although it looks like that might change again.

Actually it seemed more like Kitamura did that by himself. And the yummy took Brotou and Date due to Kitamura's desire being Eiji, notice how it became fully evolved while Kitamura held Eiji's hand. (That only sounded a bit wrong):laugh:
